> _**I’ll admit it works, I have a bottle myself, but sometimes it burns too much to continue using it. I personally hate nasal sprays. My father-in-law uses the Equate brand nasal spray constantly, and my mother-in-law uses XClear (she’s the one that told me about it).**_

I’ve gotten Xlear for about six bucks from a different site, that I can’t remember at the moment. 😃 The burning sensation you describe is coming from the salt water (saline) in the solution. One of the reasons I use it is because, to me, it’s much milder than straight saline solution, which also usually contains a number of chemicals I’d prefer avoid. Of course, if you’re looking to save a dollar, it’s easy enough to mix up your own saline solution. 😉

I’m quite familiar with the workings of Xylitol. BTW, it’s a sugar alcohol. My post is on page three. 🙂 😉

I’ll also add to that post…

Stevia has just recently been FDA approved as a bonified sugar substitute! Finally. (Up to that point it had to be classified as a dietary supplement.) What’s more, they’ve been able to rid it of the lingering licorice after taste. _Now_ they’ve really got something. This is a godsend for anyone on a seriously sugar resticted diet.
