I never quite figured out why the sexual urge of men and women differ so much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured out why men think with their head and women with their heart. FOR EXAMPLE: One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed. Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says “I don’t feel like it, I just want you to hold me.” I said “WHAT??!! What was that?!” So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear… “You’re just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man.” She responded to my puzzled look by saying, “Can’t you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?” Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep. The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn’t decide which one to take so I told her we’d just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said lets get a pair for each outfit. We went onto the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings. Let me tell you…she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn’t even know how to play tennis. I think I threw her for a loop when I said, “That’s fine, honey.” She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited anticipation she finally said, “I think this is all dear, let’s go to the cashier.” I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, “No honey, I don’t feel like it.” Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled WHAT?" I then said “honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You’re just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman.” And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, “Why can’t you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?” Apparently I’m not having sex tonight either. ---

Wow! I would say you are correct in that you probably aren’t going to get any tonight ☹ . I’m sorry, friend. I did get a great big laugh from your post though! May I ask what her response was? Also, I’d like to say that I find I’m usually the one chasing my man for sex. We used to have sex every day until he began to complain that his abs hurt constantly from all the activity… I tried to explain to him that I was concerned for his core strength. LOL And **that** is the reason I jumped him constantly. heh heh… As for your situation, I think we have to take our mates as we find them. And if you’re into sex more than she is, then you have to ask yourself if that is something you can seriously deal with? As for being in touch with her emotional needs, well… are you? Cuz I gotta tell you, my man is in touch with mine. And that makes me wanna jump him as soon as he walks through the door. And sometimes first thing in the morning. 🙄 I would also make sure that sex is something that you both enjoy? I mean, I love it… sex with my current partner is guaranteed to leave me with a big ole smile and overrun with oxytocins! 😃 There have been past partners, however, that didn’t do that for me. So, I wouldn’t have been so crazy about having sex with them whenever they got the urge. From your post it’s difficult to tell if she has valid concerns or whether she’s picking a fight so she doesn’t have to have sex. ---

A single agent was rebooking a long line of inconvenienced travelers. Suddenly an angry passenger pushed his way to the desk. He slapped his ticket down on the counter and said, “I HAVE to be on this flight and it has to be FIRST CLASS.” The agent replied, “I’m sorry sir. I’ll be happy to try to help you, but I’ve got to help these folks first, and I’m sure we’ll be able to work something out.” The passenger was unimpressed. He asked loudly, so that the passengers behind him could hear, “DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO I AM?” Without hesitating, the agent smiled and grabbed her public address microphone. “May I have your attention please,” she began her voice heard clearly throughout the terminal. “We have a passenger here at Gate 14 WHO DOES NOT KNOW WHO HE IS. If anyone can help him find his identity, please come to Gate 14.” With the folks behind him in line laughing hysterically, the man glared at the United agent, gritted his teeth and swore. “F\*\*\* you!” Without flinching, she smiled and said, “I’m sorry, sir, but you’ll have to get in line for that, too.” ---
