Yikes !

[Number of morbidly obese growing rapidly - Diet & Nutrition - MSNBC.com](http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18036377/)

is there something in our food, a byproduct, an incorrect ratio of fatty acids, something.???.. this is like an epidemic disease process that is killing people… tied directly to our food industries, and nobody has the political will to deal with it ? Like taking on the tobacco industry in 1965…

PS… I’ve had excellent results with the right combination of probiotics,

Jarrow EPS contains this from Mitsibushi:

[Bifidobacterium longum BB536](http://www.micchem.com/products/BB536.htm)

The final product is this… take several on empty stomach a couple times per day:

[Jarro-Dophilus EPS™](http://jarrow.com/product.php?prodid=228)

in combination with:

[Flora Balance: Candida control, better digestive health and immune systsem enhancement](http://www.flora-balance.com/)

For whatever reason, there is a dramatic synergy between these two probiotic sources when taken together… the bacillus laterosporus in Flora balance is a strong soil bacterium, apparantly surviving for eons in Iceland where they found it… so I expect the laterosporus has potent capacity to further digest intestinal contents… possibly reducing toxic, irritant, or inflammatory product to simpler, less disturbing “molecular composts”…

I notice a tightening of the waistline, significantly less gas, and all around reduction in gut irritability… now I am told that IBS is a “normal part of the stressful life” and increasing percentages of urban professional stressos have some variation of IBS…

So possibly a plentiful diet of lifeless, overprocessed, greasy garbage food with no source of complex soil bacterias are throwing more and more people into metabolic chaos…

I also note than when I consistently repopulate with the bacterial blend, AND remove most sugar from diet, I have no food cravings whatsoever, I can eat only what I really do need to eat, and when I feel like it would be a good time… something bout these wolfish food crazy hungers are just insane…

Also,

Digestive enzymes. That stuff is great, I take a couple with every meal, and it helps a great deal.

The new Kevin Trudeau book “weight loss cure” has a very specific thing people can do to lose weight. He tries to uncover all kinds of horrible lies government agencies are hiding, exactly like the tobacco industries.

Please don’t post here how he’s a criminal, etc. heard it all before..

Anyone seen “Thank you for smoking”? freakin’ brilliant!

I’ve also found Xylitol to be the best natural sugar substitute taste-wise. If you want to lose weight, you must stay away from anything that says “diet” on it, including artificial sweeteners. They have been proved to unleash food cravings AFTER you consume them.

The rate of obesity growth has parallels the rate of replacement of sugar with High Fructose Corn syrup (and other additives) in the diet. It’s everywhere, for example, KFC used to give people honey. Today, it’s “honey sauce”, that is HFCS with just enough honey to flavor it. I generally try to buy Mexican Coke Cola. It tastes better than American, because it’s made with sugar rather than HFCS as the sweetener. It’s lucky, I live near Mexico. Plus we can’t forget the “super sizing” of our diet.

Edit: Seems Nunya was posting while I was writing this!

Forget the HCFS rant, how about the “Americans will accept any crap in their food and don’t care” rant?

This country allows additives in our food that are outlawed in the rest of the world. We are a nation of over fed and under nourished people.

It does? You mean the fruits and vegetables harvested before they are ripe and flavors develop? Or are you talking about the bland corn fed beef? Have you ever tasted a grass fed European steak? Heck, when’s the last time you found an old stewing chicken?

Please refer to: [New Phero User's Fun Story and Dilemmas](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/new-phero-users-fun-story-and-dilemmas/2935)
I am writing a research paper on this, actually, as we speak.
In summary: the problem with America is that people eat big meals, and underestimate the amount of calories they consume… so I advocate to eat often, in small portions, and u’ll be on your way to weight loss.

Well I was being sarcastic.

Honestly if it wasn’t for WWII and the food of the future! we prolly wouldn’t be in this position.

Well that and farm subisidies. Which in theory sound good, but in practice…not so much.

But then again, I can get a pretty good rant going on the crap food we allow them to provide for us.🙄

And the health risks, not just the taste, involved.

Well the only thing you can do is be choosy about what you purchase, and trun as many other people on as possible.

each one teach one and all that.

I mean look at what we have now, compared to 10 years ago - Horizon organic dairy products in mainstream stores, Whole Foods market, Trader Joe’s - they’ve all got their flaws - but they are a step forward…

Not to mention the crap that is Apartame, which is used to sweeten diet sodas. This stuff has been linked to Alzheimer’s Disease and certain types of brain tumors. My co-worker’s mother has developed a nerve disorder. Her doctor believes it is due to the diet soda she’s drank all her life. Unfortunately my own mother drinks that stuff all the time. I’ve been trying to warn her about the problems it causes, but she’s rather flip about it. Her motto is, “Everything has something bad in it now, so what are you gonna do.” ☹

Hmmm here I am thinking I’m doing pretty good setting here with my bottle of green tea. Then I look at the ingrediants. Guess what the second one listed is. . . That’s right! High Fructose Corn Syrup! To beat that, I was reading an article yesterday on Yahoo about bottled water. I guess it isn’t as good for us as I always thought. Recent tests have shown that 22 percent of bottles have shown man-made chemicals, bacteria, and trace amounts of arsenic. 😮 😠 That’s it! I’m going to become a mad scientist and find a way to survive while eating and drinking NOTHING! Watch me.

😉
