Technically I am not wiccan although I practice wicca, I am a blood witch descending on my grandmothers side. Yes Sigil…I can be counted as one too… Actually, I’m more of a “Pagan”, but have been known to manipulate energy when I need to. And as far as pheros in the spiritual path…how is it any different than using a money attracting oil, or an incense to promote harmony in the home? Just another tool, my friend… ---

It’s essentially why the Necronomicon works. The old ones are but works of fiction. (Much more comparably so to more traditional entities that “exist.” 🙂) It’s intent being focused and how it’s puts forth to the greater consciousness. Pheraoh, totally. Fictional works provide enough of a framework. Perhaps, a thousand years ago, our mythologies would be conveyed to us by storytellers around the light of a blazing fire against the night sky… Nowadays, the allegories are presented to us by a big blinking box in the center of the living room… Moving images have as much power to imprint as a story by firelight. (Marshall Macluhan, anyone? ) Its perfectly reasonable, in a moment of panic, to call forth the image of Obi Wan Kenobi. And, belief being the fulcrum, it will work. No, I have never tried his Chaos Audio CD, didn’t even knew one existed. Will have to research the title. Anything I can say about “labels” is old, hackneyed, stilted, and lame. So, I will say that I hesitate to call myself a chaos magician, mostly because most of the ones that I have met that claim that title are complete and utter assholes. There is something about the rote practice of any sort of “path” that causes it to devolve quickly into a set of mindless activities. One or two generations out, the original intent or meaning of the rituals is pretty much kaput. You have to win your own battles with your mind, and blindly following a path of rituals isn’t going to achieve it for you. Anyhoo, that’s a ramble and I have some searching to do. ---
