Ok, so we all know it’s been awhile since all the oil product lines have been out of stock, excepting A314. So i started thinking about it and here’s what i came up with:

1. Oil based formulas would require a higher quantity to be created at once, probably more like 100 bottles being made instead of 20 at a batch.

2. While the interest for said products are high NOW, it seems Dirty and [Raw Power](https://a314.com/product/raw-power/) sat on the shelves for quite a while when they were still there, so Androtics probably is leery to release another set of them.

Now this is all conjecture that i’m hoping the higher ups will clarify and correct me on. But assuming i’m correct, i was wondering if these products could be rereleased on the basis that we get enough interested members saying they’ll buy a bottle BEFORE the release. Since i don’t know how many bottles would be created in a batch, if one of the techs or Jasmin or MHariss could comment on that, that would be splendid.

Also, anyone who bought a bottle of either Dirty or Raw Power while it was in stores, it would help if you could tell us how much they cost then, so we’ll have a ballpark figure on how much each bottle sells for.

Now, if you wanna show your interest, fill out the survey above. But ONLY fill it in if you WILL buy a bottle. I’d like an idea of the definites, so no wishy washy answers.

This is the third time we tried this but who knows they say the third time is a charm.

Last time they released the [Raw Power](https://a314.com/product/raw-power/) test pack because they said working with oils is to time consuming and not the direction they were going at the time.

Now Dirty would have to wait in line after LAM because we have been waiting for the copulins for over 6 months now. Shit I know if we waited patiently that long for them and they put them in Dirty first I would be hitting the road because all hell would break loose LOL

I’d definitely buy the [Raw Power](https://a314.com/product/raw-power/) and am willing to put money down for a pre-order if anything materializes!!

We can’t test rapidly in the oil format, so it’s not of much interest when creating and refining mixes.

There are several advantages to the spray format:

1. Smaller sizes create more reasonable costs to both produce and for testers to acquire. The smaller amounts also creates a shorter test cycle, and encourages people to try more mixes. These are all great factors to speed up R&D

2. The liquid path is easier and more accurate to dose, once the pump is primed. It’s an actual discrete path, whereas the size of a drop often has quite a bit to do with local weather conditions, local gravity, how quickly someone squeezes a dropper or shakes a bottle, etc.

Accurate dosing is essential to moving things ahead research-wise, and ultimately, it may be essential for consumer enjoyment, as well. You’ll notice that almost all pharmaceutical products are strictly dosed. You don’t take a couple drops of Advil, you take 100mg or wha hav eyou.

1. You can cover greater surface area with a good spray pattern. This is also more predictable than oil. With an oil, we don’t know how much skin someone covered with a few drops, whereas with a spray, we know to a great degree how much surface area was covered with X # of sprays.

That said, there are advantages to oils. Especially in certain kinds of weather.

When a good mix is all said and done, it often will work well in the oil format. That doesn’t necessarily apply to oil mixes. It requires significant tweaking to get A314, which began in and has developed in an oil base, working in the spray format.

Once a mix is highly evolved (and again, the spray format helps with this), I have nothing against moving them to an oil format for normal, everyday consumer use. We’ll likely do the bulk of that outside of here, though, where rapid R&D takes priority.

i’d probably order both of em… its not a definite yet, so i wont drop my 2 cents in…er…the offering plate… lol. i strongly considered it whilst they were in stock… so when they come back.. i may have a spark of “buy-it-now”.

and yes… I know that the men have QUITE a few of our own, and we have our hands full with tests as it is… give the ladies some of the load. I think their happiness is going to outweigh our needyness in the long run.. especially if R&D takes both sides of the spectrum

i have no idea what these products are but i’d love an oil based AMMO, IS and OPENNESS. i live in a very hot and dry climate, as do many others, and i have noticed that the sprays only last a short time. i feel you are missing out on a market. if you spent the time developing and producing oil equivalents of your spray range, with the right marketing and explanations of their benefits in certain climates i’m sure you’d be on to a winner. of course they would have to be competitively priced for this to work.
i have a314 (oil) and it lasts a lot longer than the sprays where i live.

Well that’s the thing AD has never been about increasing its market share or looking to gain traction where others are doing it. Oils are expensive to make and AD is a research company really. I know we had some oil products in the past, but I doubt it will happen again other than A314 🙂. Thanks for your input though

thanks for the reply steve. although i don’t follow all the ins and outs of AD, i have been buying for a number of years. whilst i have noted that you do a lot of experimental stuff and research i had always understood the reason for this was to produce products that work which you can sell. which you indeed do (with great success i’d imagine). i just seems strange to claim to be a research company when i don’t think you’d be doing so much research if no income was involved! but hey, it’s all cool with me. you sell some great research items! 😉
whilst i appreciate that oils are expensive to make i’d imagine that there are many people in hot dry climates willing to experiment because as you point out in your online store, the sprays don’t work as well in these climates. we need help as well! of course, i could be wrong and you might have tried without much success. A314 is cool and lasts where i live but oh to have AMMO that lasts like that!!!

There are ways to slow diffusion to.

In the hot summer months I will put a big glob of lotion in my palm and spray my [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) right into it. Mix it around a little then apply right to my skin. Then I give myself a few regular sprays. This way some diffuse fast and hit hard and the lotion-ed ones diffuse slow and longer.

You can also try covering with a EO or oil based scent. I think Renny mentioned using mineral oil after applying to to help slow diffusion.

Just remember slower diffusion means slower less blatant hits. When I use oil based mones the effects are always more subtle then when using the instant line.

And at least we have A314, which in my opinion is the most important and well rounded products they have here 🙂
