I’m still pretty new to this game, but I’ve had some adverse reactions to A314 and I’m a bit worried. Version 18, Batch 2. [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/). Just got it yesterday. I ended up with 2 drops (accident) on my wrist and another 2 behind the ears. The girls I was around thought it smelled like BO. I figured it was an OD, as I also put P79 on top of it. Today, I managed to put 1 drop on just my wrist and rubbed them together. I put my IH (2x strength) on top of it as a buffer. As soon as I went over to my parents’ house an hour later, my mom is commenting that my new cologne smells awful, has too much musk. My baby niece cried when I picked her up at first. When we were outside, mom kept saying “it smells like dog urine out here.” (Gotta love her, she’s so delicate.) I couldn’t smell the funk, and neither could my dad. But it was definitely there. I went to walgreens after working out in the yard and the girl behind the counter walked away in the middle of ringing me out. The next girl that worked there had to come out and finish the job, smiling saying “she had to go to the bathroom.” This is no DIH; I’m repulsing people with A314, even on a small dose. Tonight, it will NOT be in the mix. Did I get a bad batch, or is there a better way to wear this stuff? ---

I dunno, but it’s probably the Akuto scent, some people don’t like the Akuto A314 as much as the EO A314. Have you tried covering it up with cologne? I would not consider [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) to be a cover scent. ---

If I had to guess, they’re playing around with scent diffusion, but only AD really knows the answer. ---

I wore it today at work, 2 drops. no one said I stunk, so that’s a start. I covered it up with some old aqua di gio I had laying around. But I didn’t notice any major hits either. I think I’ll try again tomorrow ---

I wore it again today, I felt much more relaxed and confident, but I was also much easier to anger. Is this a typical self reaction? No reports of me stinking this time. Taking tomorrow off but will try again Thursday. ---

I think it has a little to do with one’s mood at the time, which you might not even be aware of till the A314 brings it out, if that makes any sense. I felt a bit impatient with things. And, I have to say, I felt too good for the people around me (none of whom I actually knew), and quite arrogant. But the effect was short lived, like an hour or so. Normally I just feel more relaxed and confident, and well disposed to people. ---

I didn’t pick up a scent at first, but when I got in the car, I sure did. I had cover [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) on (Shine, Openness, and CTTM Mix2) as well as IFM and Ammo. I don’t know if it was A314 or a mixture of all of them, but I got a different smell and I can’t quite place it. It seemed like a familiar smell, definitely musky, but I couldn’t place it to a familiar cologne for the life of me. I can’t say that I didn’t like the smell, but I can’t say that I was totally taken by it either. Didn’t seem to repulse people though. And even with me wearing all that, it didn’t seem like I OD’ed. I’ll definitely have to get home and find out what type it is. ---

I have a314 version 17 batch 6 Akuto. I have had outstanding results since I got it about 4 months ago. I wear 2 drops, one drop per jawline. I do this for the self effect. I usually save the a314 for special occasions though. But when I do wear it, I also wear 2 sprays of ammo on the inside of elbow on pulse point, instant honesty 4x (One spray then rub) on my wrists, and also [Raw Power](https://a314.com/product/raw-power/) real close to my nose, upper lip,for the self effect. Raw power is very strong so I rarely wear a whole drop. It also doesn’t have the best scent, but I wear it because the A314 is great and I get hits, but I don’t always close, and the raw power makes me more agressive. ---

Here’s an update. I wore it to work 4 days this week, just behind the ears, 1 drop. The self effects were pretty obvious after just 2 days at work. I felt pretty relaxed, confident and authoritative. I was also much easier to anger when in situations where I felt challenged. It really brought out my “dominate” urges. I noticed most of the effects in hindsight, when I was too focused on something else to pay attention to what was going on. I have a feeling this is a much more long term [pheromone](https://a314.com/shop/). Like someone else said, the effects of the sprays are much more immediate and apparent. I’m currently wrestling with whether the effects of A314 are come from it’s effects on others around you, or your own changes in behavior due to self effects. (Think about that one.) I’m wondering if the latter is truer than the former, which would explain why people say it’s so tough to master. You’re trying to find what works best for you instead of what’s best for those around you. But then again, I could just be all BS. thoughts? ---

My thoughts are that I have been consciously working on projecting an alpha image and ruthlessly weeding out any behaviours that might be seen as beta for a few years now. With good results I might add. I definitely think that A314 helps with both - the self effects and then something additional to that which is the effects on others. As I feel I had the variables of “body language” and “attitude” well under control long before I started adding A314, which was only a couple of months ago. I do see a difference in the treatment I get from people. I have been observing others’ body language for a few years too, and I have never seen so much of what I have noticed recently - that other people, for example, are going out of their way to mirror my body language and posture. So yes, the effects are subtle especially compared to the [spray pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/spray-pheromones/), but they are apparently affecting both myself and others.
