# Ok to Spray regular cologne over Ammo?

Just wondering whether its ok to spray my regular cologne over AMMO? Would it affect its effectiveness in any way?

I haven’t found that it hindered anything. From my uses of it it worked out the same with or without a cover scent.

However because the FF21 scent is so distinct, I would just choose carefully what cologne you try to cover it with, sometimes because of the fresh, clean, detergenty smell that AMMO has, it seems you just had freshly washed clothes with cologne on. I’ve gotten nothing but good compliments from FF21 and it has the best trail diffusion out there.

Like P51 said it depends on what it is.

I don’t see why you would, however. [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) is cologne strength. You don’t want to smell like a department store because you’re wearing two heavy distinct colognes together.

I use a regular cologne with AMMO most of the time since the scent of the mones lasts way longer than the FF22 in AMMO. Just don’t use a cologne that is too heavy. I also wouldn’t wear a sweet or fruity cologne together with AMMO (like 1 Million or Joop Homme).

I prefer Joop Nightflight with AMMO. I always get compliments from girls about this combination. However, I just use 1-2 sprays of AMMO and 1 spray of Nightflight. Otherwise I would smell like a cologne department store as John Sebastian pointed out.
