With our body and pheromones, it seems its probably all about the ratios.

Androstenol is produced at a peak from puberty to middle twenties, and after it drops off dramatically. So I’m thinking a part of this is that Androsterone would have a higher effect after since Androstenol declines after that age. I do see that adding Androstenol to a mix lowers status/rones and brings the age down who respond.

Androsterone is synthesized from Testosterone and dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which comes from DHEA in the body, so the Androsterone levels should be in line with your testosterone levels and therefore I dont think continue to go up but may go down over time as DHEA or testosterone drops. Those with low T have reported beta/weak occasionally with things like Ammo Summer, IG, and MX297 which may correlate to the lower status in your base signature.

Pregnenolone → Androstadienol → Androstadienone → Androstenone → Androstenol (A/B)

The cells of the adrenal glands, as well as the central nervous system, synthesize pregnenolone. So it appears that pregnenolone declines with stress which actually would effect both androstenone and androsterone levels.

Androstadienol is synthesized from pregnenolone by the 16-ene-synthetase activity of CYP17A1 and is converted into androstadienone by 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase.

Androstadienone can be converted into androstenone by 5α-reductase.
Androstenone can be subsequently converted into 3α-androstenol or 3β-androstenol (Alpha/Beta Nol) by 3-ketosteroid reductase.

There is a study on androsterone levels in plasma by age but it costs $ so I havent been able to see what it says.

Besides age, also if the body is under constant stress, pregnenolone level usually stays high in early stages, but tends to be low as adrenal weakness progresses due to a phenomena known as pregnenolone steal as the pregnenolone level drops because the body bypasses pregnenolone production in favor of producing more down-stream hormones such as DHEA and cortisol. That would allow Androsterone to stay up but likely things like Androstadienone and Androstenone to fall.
