Did anyone try to mix oil (olive?) to a instant line product with alcohol?
Does they mix well (oil is supposed to be lighter than alcohol I think) so shaking might be needed before spraying.
It is really dry here and it didn’t even past the test from androtic website (i cannot smell anyone’s cologne, scent, deodorant or whatever)😮

Thx!🙂

When oil is in water it floats to the top. When oil is in alcohol it’s sits at the bottom. They don’t mix because of differing molecules and atoms with positive and negative charged protons and electrons. For oil to mix with water or alcohol you need add an emulsifier. Most classic example of an emulsifier is eggs used in ranch salad dressing.

Would simply shaking the bottle before we spray it (a la oil/vinegar salad dressing) solve this problem?

Hello Guys!!!
Let me say that I like this thread!!! Lately I’m doing a “kind of” research on this way. Later, when significative results will show-up, I’ll add them into my “Tests” page. Let me do a bit more clear about my oils.
First of all, let me say that in past I graduated as an Aromatherapist (even if it’s now my job… yet…), and it gives me some background on the effects of aromas and how to formulate Aromatherapy Oils. But these two oils aren’t connected to the Aromatherapy, I just used my mixing skills and experience to make my tests up.
Up to now I’ve made two oil-based Phero mixes up. Both with different percentage of active pheros, and with exactly opposite results. The formulation was:

Olive Oil: 60 g
Essential oils: 4 drops (were for different people, and I used what that person was needeing, to my opinion)
[Pheromones](https://a314.com/) used: Alcohol Based Pheros, up to 30 mcg of total phero (I made a calculation on Putatives and “something more” from the “Instant Line” because I don’t know how much of total Phero is inside the “Instant Line”)

As many are writing, this thing didn’t mix. In fact, the oils were separated from alcohol. Anyway, you just needed to shake it for good and it’d look really nice. To use it, I’ve given it into two containers with pipette-cap.

Until now, the first was “That’s WONDERFUL!!!” and the other “I felt nothing different from other oils”.

Ok, for that all for now. I’ll keep on researching on this way.

See ya

Franz

Hey Franz,

Great post. Couple questions…you say the essential oils were “for different people”…did you wear these mixes or did they?

Also, what pheromones did you use in your mixes? Which one worked and which one didn’t?

Hello Elevation!!!
Thank you for what you wrote about my post. I wish I could answer to your both questions, but I only can answer to one I’ll tell you why.
When I made these mixes up, I blended them for people suffering for stress, and I gave them the oils. So, I tailored the oils (both were similar in the Pheros and different as Essences) on my two helpers (two friends that doesn’t know about Pheros). I decided to not tell this to them, not to deceive them, but to have a “blind test”. If you don’t know what you use, you don’t know the effect and you don’t imagine unexisting effects.
Unluckily I’ve do data to answer to your question. In fact, I used many of my Pheros and I can’t know which one gave effect and which not. Only one of two told me “I felt great with it” and the next reported no effects. About which pheros I used, you can see the full list under my posts, I used a bit of them all except for AMMO.

Ok, for now it’s all. Have good time!!!

See ya

Franz

Thanks Franz.

I did some experiments of my own with TAA oil mixed with unscented massage oil, but I didn’t notice any change in the people I used it on and decided not to pursue it…sounds like you might be having more success than I did. Let us know how your experiments go, or send me a PM, I’d be curious if you find anything more.

Hello guys,
I see that I’m not the only one testing this way!!! That sounds good. If I may, Elevation, it could be that your mix didn’t work because the concentration of the pheros was too low… How much did you put in it? I’m just curious. I was also thinking to work on the “Female Magic” way, at least as soon as I’ve a bottle of it (of course for female friends). Unluckily, now I’m very low on Pheros (like many here) and I’ve in my stock almsot only sexual ones (AMMO, TUTH…) and some that I don’t want to waste (A314, [P93](https://a314.com/product/p93/), MX222). I think that I’ll keep on this research when I’ll restock my storage. After it, I’ll write it all in my Test page, so everybody can give me advice on it, seen that I’m not much experienced yet.

See ya

Franz

If memory serves I used 12 drops (20 mcg per drop) of TAA per oz. of carrier oil. This may seem like a lot but I use a fraction of an ounce to massage someone. I probably needed to increase the amount of pheros but I didn’t want to use too much of the bottle. Besides, I don’t get the self-effects from TAA oil like I do with [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/), so that’s why I was curious about your experiments…maybe IShine would work better. Who knows, maybe I’ll try it again sometime.

You might want to read up on what Tacitus had to say about jojoba oil - if memory serves, he used jojoba oil on top of a [pheromone](https://a314.com/) application to slow down dispersion, or some such.

I use a glass roll top bottle when mixing oil based and alcohol based products. It does have to be remixed at each application with a quick shake or two but I’m happy with it.

I also second Nancysboy’s suggestion for jojoba, it is more commonly used as a carrier for eos. Check some of the eo e-tailors you will find many different acceptable carriers some boosted with vitamin e to prevent them from going rancid. Olive oil seems like it would go rancid more quickly than an oil meant to use with eos.

Thank you Nancysboy and Inklin for your replys!!! Until now I just used the olive oil, because I don’t have risk of getting it rancid, seen that I just blend small amounts. But for now I stopped… I’m low on pheros. I’ll write the Jojoba oil thing into my scrapbook and I’ll use it for the next tests, when I’ll start on this way again.

Thank you!!!

See you

I just did a first test with ammo and olive oil today: I rub a tiny amount oil on the spot I spray 1x ammo as soon as I put the bottle down. The scent of ammo seems to be a little lighter (olive oil doesn’t even smell like oil since there is no transfat or sat fat, which is really good).
I believe that the scent of ammo hasn’t disappear for about 12 hours now (the scent usually last a long time if i get my nose closer), but it is getting weaker.
I am not that experienced yet so I can’t really tell if it is better or more effective. Lets just make it a first experiment out of curiosity!
