I’m an easy going guy. My desires in life are good income, job stability, a safe neighborhood, a reliable car, having fun, hurting no one, finding good in people, having a strong character and winning personality. It takes work, but I’m up to the task. I’ve always believed in aromatherapy. Ever since I noticed that Vanilla made me feel differently than if I smelled Pine. These were the two main smells in the house as I was growing up. To me, smell affecting mood is self evident. Pheromones goes right along with this. I also read that smell is one of the most powerful senses because it has no interpretation filter in the brain. It directly affects the subconscious and can even recall long forgotten memories. It can be difficult seeing the world as anything other than tenuous and becoming bad, as things in the news get worse and worse. I remember the saying “We can’t change the world. All we can do is not let it change us.” I’d like to try Shine for my own benefit as well as my girl’s and our connection together. I’m in I.T. so I don’t have much interpersonal contact at work. It’s me and the computer all day. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very thankful to have employment. Just in terms of human contact and interpersonal relationships, it’s created a drag on the psyche. This, and my introspective personality, has created some uncertainty that I’ll be fully in the moment when I’m with my girl. I seem to be better at imagining us doing things than actually doing them. Given that I’ll talk maybe 45 minutes total in a 24hr period, it’s no wonder that I struggle with real life interaction. Most of my life is in my head. So I’m hoping the Shine helps me remain positive, easy going, and creates some openness and comfort that I’ve lost through attrition.
Thanks for the advice on the scents! I’m going to try Shine and Honesty. Can I wear them at the same time for combined effect?
