Vahnzo,

My advice is take to a little care and thought before you attempt to dress down someone. A careful reading of the thread shows that the first attack did not come from me.

The point of this thread was that Openness and Honesty might be put you in a situation that you might later regret. I’ll certainly use more care in their public use in the future.

Yeah, it’s one thing for me to go into detail about the stuff I talk to strippers about, but Whitehall was first and foremost engaging in business. Professional integrity demands he protect the identity of the person he was engaged in business with, including personal information shared in conversation. Especially since such information can be damaging to the individual’s reputation.

It wasn’t an attack, but a statement where I misunderstood your first post, which I already explained to you. You’re taking it too personal. And even if someone did offend you. Sloping below their level would not solve anything.

Cool. Methinks we’re having a generational and/or cultural disconnect in this thread. Take the concept of “reputation.” To some the nastier 'n more bassass the higher the status. To others, the appearance of a Puritan values is paramount (what happens behind closed doors is another matter). I find the lines blurring the older I get. Business, pleasure, good, bad, evil… I don’t try to sort it out or classify any more. I say strive to be a sofa king.

Two things to mention now that i have entered in on this thread.
Over the years of your many postings on the forums, I have admired you as being an intelligent gentleman and i know it is not your nature or style to go seek and attack, because you are a considerate person and i go with you on this score.

And secondly, I tend to be somewhat jovial and also thoughtless and also possably lack in intelligence, The point is there has been more than a few occasions when i have been very open and honest and it has got me into a shit load of trouble.
The reason being is that sometimes certain individuals will take the facts and twist them to suit their own scheming designs, and it only takes a small distortion of the open truth to make it look all very bad when someone is trying to discredit you.
Therefore i have to agree, Think twice before spill the beans 😃

Read one of General Robert E. Lee’s favorite sayings earlier this week:

_ **“Never be haughty before the humble and never be humble before the haughty.”** _

Good advice I think.
