yes that is sarcasm… I was one of many that got screwed and had to kiss things I loved a lot goodbye…yes my gf had to go bc cmon…wats important? Ability to afford her or gas?..he’ll I have a hard time affording both BUT…as everyone sees, the economy still sux yes but gas is declining…giving me wiggle room again so here I am…LOL for the loving few that knew me I am back again I missed this dearly bunches and can’t wait to give my opinions or 5 cents to peeps…seriously no ur not getting 5 cents thatsdrink money! Although majority time I have been gone was due to a economy craphole, my computer failed on me so honestly I’m using my new iPhone 3G and it’s working really well with this. Welcome back, sharkboy, and glad to know things are getting better for you. I’d like that G3 of yours. At the dorm at my high school, the wireless turns off at 12, but my friend just keeps on surfing and downloading to the early hours of the morning on his G3. Damn phones. 🙂 ---

That’s terrible. That was one of most growth oriented parts of the country, even earlier this year. I guess it’s hitting everywhere, although our own Steve says his area in Tennessee is fine so far. He hasn’t noticed a dip at all, whereas here in LA many businesses are going under so fast that all of the “for lease” signs suddenly make it seem apocalyptic. We even had a major grocery store disappear. Weird. You almost never see grocery stores go under. Thankfully, over here, I think it’s mostly the mean spirited companies that have been the first to go. The extra-good companies seem to be doing just fine. (so far, anyway) For instance, I don’t see the Trader Joe’s parking lot empty. They’ve always been a great combination of “good stuff”. Super friendly, and super helpful, with decent to great prices (they’re cheaper than the big chain stores in my area) for what’s normally extra-high quality food. It’s really a remarkable combination, so I think people are still willing to shop there in any kind of economy. You gotta eat, so you might as well buy your food from all around nice folks… There’s even fan sites for Trader Joe’s. You’d think [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) would be consider “optional” in a bad economy, but we’re doing quite alright in some ways. Our volume of orders is actually up (# of orders to process per day), because people are probably looking a little harder into the companies they do business with (less Pherlure, more Androtics – hey, that’s good!). Unfortunately, our order size is down, because people simply have less money or are being more conservative with it. Unfortunately, that ends up being sort of negative because we subsidize the shipping costs from product costs. We’ll likely have to restructure our offers here for the new economy. Anyway, I hope the economy picks up, because if it doesn’t, even the better companies where people are kind will start to go away… and then what? We get the bulldozers out, and start over? 🙂
