Evolutionary biologists have spoken of ovulation as being concealed to men and women. I’m curious as to the extent of awareness by women of the cycle state of women around them (whether inferred by odour, behaviour - eg greater bitchiness - or subtle physical changes).

Also has anyone observed interactions between cycles and the use of mones - female or male…

I don’t pick up on where _other_ women are in their cycles necessarily, but in a group of women with a certain degree of comfort with each other - an office full of women, for example - it’ll be openly discussed and often become synchronized. No need to get intuitive (or very observant) about it!

Thomas said he could tell when girls are ovulating. I think it would be very interesting to test that claim!

heh heh heh

how could he go about about testing it? 😮

i can only tell with women i know, and myself.
i cant say i have a consistant reaction with any women around me in reaction to my mixes.
the women i know all behave differently from one another around that time, and so to find a commonality would be the exception, not the rule me thinks.

Not many girls in our office but we are all in sync. I can tell when I am ovulating and my best friend only because she will drag me over to check out cute guys in the lobby. She always gets a little overheated during that time of the month.

I have been wondering does the choice of [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) that you choose to wear change with your cycle?
or…
Do you seem to unconsciously prefer heavier Cops near ovulation time?
If it is off-topic please continue with the main thread question.

im consistant with my phero-usage.

the deciding factor with which to choose is usually determined by the course of my day, who i will come in contact with, and if i have time to gab.

i have experimented with androstenone at all times in my cycle, and its consistant there too.

i wear cops because i think its only fair that everyone feel the way i do

the only thing my cycles have ever affected was my chocolate consumption.

That’s good to know.
My question was based partially on this study. Women dress sexier during ovulation: [Women Dress Sexier When at Ovulation - Women adopt a more fashionable and flamboyant clothing style when ovulating than when in their least fertile phase of the month - Softpedia](http://news.softpedia.com/news/Women-Dress-Sexier-When-at-Ovulation-37632.shtml)

mine does. cops make me weepy in the weeks prior to ovulation. after ovulation it’s a whole different story.

i can’t say that my pherosignature changes much depending on where i am in my cycle, so much as where i’ll be and what the environment is. which i guess is how most people do it.

I am a college student and I wear my pheros to class as sort of experiments. I have definitely noticed that certain times of the month certain Pheros work better. I base when the particular girl is ovulating by how revealing her clothing is. When she is wearing very sexual or revealing clothing then I figure the girl is probably ovulating. Using this logic I have found that during ovulation TUTH and p79 have the most profound effect. I also noted that during this time A1 is not the way to go (it makes them treat you like you are the unthreatening friend who is never gonna hit it). Right after ovulaition I noticed that Androsterone is helpful along with a little nol to keep conversation. About three to four days after that begin to work in A1. This info could be completely useless if my clothing method proves incorrect but I feel pretty confident.

well i could be totally outside of the norm for women, but i tend to wear the most revealing clothing from last day of menstruation to a week or so before ovulation, because that’s when i seem to hold the least amount of water. once ovulation starts i start feeling puffy.

i dont wear any revealing clothing that i know of.

even the skirts i have are floor-length.

i think _somewhere in my brain_ this makes me more approachable, because im paranoid i give off a sexual vibe 24/7 anyway.
then add the pheros.
_im a perv._
maybe clothing makes me an acceptable perv :o

god bless ya,nunya.
i never got weepy during my cycles.
😠 only _pissed off_ that i would have to wait a week 🙄

That’s the thing Lor - I never get weepy either, or even moody much - sometimes slightly irritated, and impatient, but nothing overt. But as soon as I started wearing cops, the weepiness entered the picture. So that was enough of that.

well, you ARE an aquarius LOL. you guys are the pervs of the zodiac 😛

as for [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/) use & ovulation, sigh, i wish I could answer but I’m on the pill! ☹ who woulda ever thought that one day I’d be sort of sheepish about hormonal birth control because it zaps my natural cop production and ovulatory cycle. they should put THAT on the warning label! 😠

any sense of why such a relationship holds (between cops and weepiness)?

how about mones advancing or delaying the cycle? somebody - think she is on this board - felt that exposure to my phero cocktail had actually triggered ovulation a little early.

well, i think if ovulation and our hormone level rising/falling is triggered by lust, well then _scary BUT true_.

should we be seeing pheroquirk for fertility treatments?

I’m not entirely sure. I do know that basically from menstruation to ovualation (2 weeks give or take) estrogen ramps up until there is enough to release the egg. But what copulins have to do with estrogen I’m not sure.
