Addendum: Comradery
Mr. S is relatively new in the area and is becoming a regular. When he went to leave he said that he had to put chlorine in the pool. Mr. G offered to help. Then Mr. N said, “Yeah, we’ll help you” and Mr. T says, “Yeah, let’s do it”.
Mr. S declined the offer of assistance saying that it was an easy one man job. Then Mr. N asks Mr. S when he is going to have us all over saying, “We’ll bring the meat and beer. You supply the grill and pool.” Mr. T says, “Yeah and I won’t even pee in your pool, I just want to sit and let my feet dangle in the water”. LOL! Mr. S seemed to be keen on the idea but his significant other might ruin it for us.
Everyone was interacting with each other. The TV was totally ignored.
When I figured out that this was acting like the P74 episode, I played a couple of old familiar comical songs on the jukebox to see if they would break out and sing along. A few of them did speak the words of a line or two, but there was no everyone chiming in for the chorus. There were hands thumping on the bar to the beat and lots of laughing at the silly lyrics.
