First, Mark, if you live on sudafed, you’ve got to [try Quercetin](http://www.swansonvitamins.com/JR038/ItemDetail?n=4294967190). It is a natural bioflavonoid and antioxidant, which provides cardiovascular protection and has been shown to reduce the risk of several kinds of cancer. But most important it is a LOX inhibitor which provides a pseudoephedrine-like effect by a completely different and safer mechanism. It’s good for you instead of being a dangerous drug!

Anyway… P87. When Mark began this thread I had been working on increasing the P87 in my P86 Sensuality mix. I was going to wait until I was more certain what I was discovering, but since this thread is dying I’ve decided to jump in and tell you what I’ve got so far.

Much of what follows is a comparison of P86 and P87. For the purpose of this post, when I mention P86 I am generally referring to my [P86 Sensuality Mix](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/self-improvement-w-p86-sensuality-mix/15812/1), which is predominantly P86 but also includes a half dozen other pheros in much smaller amounts. I believe these other pheros enhance the P86 without significantly modifying the quality of the effect.

I have only tried P87 alone once or twice. I didn’t notice much. I need to do some more trials.

With P86, P87 definitely seems to be an empathogen. When I do – or when I _did_ empathy counseling – I get a set of feelings in my body as I open up to being receptive to the other person’s feelings. With P87 I do not get those feelings – I am not intentionally trying to be empathic. This is why I overlooked the empathogenic effect at first. It didn’t feel like empathy.

Without the P87, P86 does not function as much of an empathogen. I expected it to and have been disappointed. The main thing I notice from P86 is that it turns sevens into tens. Fat women become voluptuous. Scrawny women become slender. Nasty women become sexy. And I get more compliments on my appearance. To me, this alone is phenomenal. In a country where everyone wants to look good, why this P86 discovery has not turned up on the front page of the _New York Times_, I don’t understand! 😃

I am going to try to justify Mark’s experience with my own. Mark is a salesman so he finds it natural to be reading people’s emotional reactions. He doesn’t experience the empathogenic qualities of P87 as exceptional. He just realizes it becomes easier as “distractions, bullshit and clutter” are pushed away. He is describing what is fading into the background as I am trying to describe what is coming to the foreground. How am I doing, Mark?

As I understand empathy, it is a _see-feel_. It begins with seeing a person in the real world and then feeling vicariously in oneself what is witnessed of the other’s expressions, mannerisms, posture. In an empathy couselling venue this would be verbally reflected back to them. Of course, there would be a _hear-feel_ aspect, as well, but it is the see-feel that strikes me when wearing P87. And here’s the topic sentence of this paragraph, hidden in the middle: In order for P87 to be an empathogen, it has to orient oneself to the external world without shutting down internal processing. It does not make me more alert, vigilantly scanning the horizon at the expense of internal thought. It filters my visual perceptions to enhance my awareness of others’ feelings. When Mark first applied the P87 there were no empathy targets, but P87 did orient his perceptions to the external, the fog lifted. I definitley want to try P87 with P100-TAF.

[One of my complaints about P86 was that I could get rather depressed over fairly petty things](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/self-improvement-w-p86-sensuality-mix/15812/10). So far, P87 seems to eliminate that risk. Tacitus said, “[depression is blown away but not replaced by euphoria](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/as-for-p87/625/2).” And Pheroquirk believes it [changed his emtional state and made him friendlier](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/p87/591/1).
It seems this could be – in part, at least – the result of being oriented to the external rather than being allowed to loop endlessly though one’s negative internal bullsh\*t.

I am searching for the best P86:P87 ratio. In equal mcg amounts, the aesthetic enhancement from P86 gets lost. If I ask myself, “How do people look,” I notice it is still there. People still look pretty good, but that gets pushed to the background and an awareness of their emotional state takes over. In the big city, that is often pretty tense, hurried, tired, annoyed. I want to be able to try this amongst a bunch of joyful, radiant people and see if that comes through as clearly. Tacitus describes P87 as “[intellectual intimacy vs. an emotional intimacy](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/as-for-p87/625/2).” P87 is definitely not as cold as P81. I don’t know yet if P86 will be enough to bring warmth to the empathy. I want a mix where I am aware of people’s beauty (and they are complimenting me again) and the awareness of their emotional state is faded just slightly to the background, readily available when desired. The ratio is somewhere between 13 and 4. So far it has been amazingly difficult to drown out the P87 with relatively larger ratios of P86. I suspect that ten to twenty percent P87 is going to be right. I’ll let y’all know. Instead of seeing a female and going, “Jeez… What a stressed out woman! Too bad, 'cause she’s not unattractive.” I wanna be thinking, “What a beautiful lady, and I understand just how she feels!”
