I have been experimenting with P88 for the past several months and I have come to the conclusion that ninety-five percent of the men (and most of the women), who come to this website, are looking for P88. It reportedly lacks the ugly side effects of androstenone. It makes people horny. Men and women both like it. My own experience confirms that it makes me horny, women like it a lot and it lacks the negatives of androstenone. Many of the earlier reports speculate that it would be good for intimate encounters, but for reasons unclear to me, they generally fail to report validation of the hypothesis. By heroically pimping myself out for the sake of science, I have begun to remedy that knowledge gap. In my experience P88 does indeed encourage very good sex. **Is There a Down Side?** Many people reported that it is not something you want to wear to work. Some reported that it has made them irritable or given them headaches. These negative effects have discouraged some early users from further exploring the potentials of P88. My own experience tells me that, used in appropriate situations, P88 is uplifting and fun. But it is a social pheromone or, perhaps more accurately, a sex pheromone. If you are going to wear a lot of P88 while doing your Income Taxes, I hope you qualify for Form EZ; otherwise, it is probably going to be a “headache”. The strip club experience is always a part of any serious testing of a social pheromone; it’s getting to the club which is irritating. My designated driver works for the bus company. I usually apply my pheromones on the bus. That way I get to experience their effects in at least two very different environments. I won’t do this again with P88. This is where I first fully experienced the irritating self effects of P88. They ended with the bus ride. I suppose being presented with sexually repulsive circumstances while wearing a sexy pheromone results in extreme irritation. Change the setting, irritation is immediately gone. I think this is the rule of thumb: **It is only appropriate to wear P88 in a situation where someone’s ordering a beer would be appropriate.** Your boss calls a project planning meeting. Would you ask for a Heineken? Don’t wear P88. In the privacy of your bedroom might you offer your lady a drink? Wearing P88 an excellent move! The guidelines are pretty straightforward. No need for further concerns about P88 side effects. **Breaking the Ice? What Ice?** The strip club with P88 was marvelous. The women were beautiful. P88 has a beautifying effect somewhat like P86, but it is more of a sexual aura that P88 creates. The women are not simply alluring pictures of beauty(P86); they are “do-able”. It somehow adds a bubbly three dimensionality to the women. I found the ladies were uncharacteristically likely to come and sit with me. I was tipping poorly and I wasn’t buying them drinks. They were more likely to touch me or my clothes (necktie). All the women treated my personal space as though they were my spouse or girlfriend. Some pheromones (e.g. A314LS) bring out the competitive nature in the girls and make it clear they know who is more attractive. The P88 was nothing like that. All the ladies, the more attractive and less attractive, were unusually friendly toward me and toward each other (noncompetitive) in my presence. If anybody’s into threesomes or orgies, they might want to check out P88 and report. There is a PUA technique which involves briefly invading a woman’s personal space “to assert dominance”. It is one of those things which occasionally just flows naturally when a man and woman are getting to know each other, but as a technique practiced with intention… Well, maybe I’m just too beta. With P88, however, this seems to become a naturally flowing part of both the man and woman’s repertoire. Aside from strip clubs, P88 is equally or more effective in the real world of intimate encounters. On one occasion, I was with a woman whom I hadn’t seen for months. I wondered how things would go. With 20mcg P88, things went astonishingly smoothly. The sex was great. It was like we had known each other forever and the hiatus in our relationship had never occurred. “Smooth” is a general characteristic of P88 sex. Things flow very naturally. The normal sense of personal space just dissolves into an urge to merge. There is no compulsive or animalistic quality about it. It just feels like the most normal thing to be doing, very sensual and mutual. **Additional Details and Applications** I believe 20mcg is the appropriate dose for sensuality. It seems to hit its peak intensity about twenty minutes after application. This is strange to me because I experience most pheromones almost instantaneously, but this one definitely builds over time. It remains at its peak for about an hour and then gradually fades out over the next two or three hours. If sensual ennui sets in, as little as 5mcg quickly reinstates sexiness. P88 seems to mix well with A314 and most [social pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/social-pheromones/). It is a great addition to the pheros in my [Sensuality Mix](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/self-improvement-w-p86-sensuality-mix/15812/13). One question for future research is whether P75 derails the mutuality of P88. On one occasion it seemed to. When trying to do desk work, I found by adding two mcg at a time every ten minutes that it was at the 6mcg point that P88 becomes noticeably irritating. P103 lessens this irritability somewhat. Ten mcg seems to be an acceptable dose for going shopping. I do find, however, that waiting in line for the cashier is extremely irritating. Over a couple of outings I found the 10mcg level to be enlightening. At the hardware store a couple of employees were rather aggressively flirting with each other. They were in their thirties or forties, not just impulsive teenagers. They smiled at me as though I was part of their game. Normally, I would have expected them to have acted embarresed or possibly even competitive toward me. Little children walk up to me smiling. The free samples at _Whole Foods_ are unusually delicious and this young lady in a white trench coat kept following me around. When I left with only a couple of items, the woman at the Customer Service window called me over to be checked out, so I didn’t have to wait in line. That never happened before. Behind the wheel of the car, I am alert and my vision clear. I am more likely to make eye contact with other drivers. I drive places taking different routes, just as I explored the aisles of stores I mightn’t otherwise have visited. There is an inquisitive, exploring quality. **Conclusions** P88 is the sexiest pheromone I have used. One might simply call it the horny pheromone. I called this “the urge to merge” because P88 has very social qualities. Tacitus called it anti-autistic. There is no sign of the aggressive nature of androstenone. Quite to the contrary, there are indications that it greatly promotes heterosexual attraction, while at the same time encouraging camaraderie among persons of the same sex. P88 should not be used outside of a social setting. In an asocial “work” environment or anywhere that potentially intimate social interactions are undesirable, the use of P88 may cause extreme irritation and even headaches. My rule of thumb is: **It is only appropriate to wear P88 in a situation where it would be appropriate for someone to order a beer**. Twenty mcg seem to be the optimal amount of P88 for heightened sexuality. It seems to work equally well on both men and women, though I’d like to see more women reporting their experiences. For lighter social situations five to ten mcg seem to be appropriate. ---

Why bother with a poll? People want it, so it should be sold. Pretty simple. I know the logistics are more involved, but how much demand do they need to see? I want to test the “holy grail”. Actually, if the review is accurate, sounds like I want to bathe in it. ---

Thanks for the nominations, reps and thankes. It is always fun to win a TOTW. This one is especially gratifying because it supports the mission! P88 has been out of stock for a long time. I have been agitating for over a year to try to get some. It is obvious that Steve was curious about this product as well. A few months ago he sent me a 30ml bottle of 2.5mcg P88. Thanks again, Steve!! This has allowed me to do the testing documented above. After I determined the optimal dosage was about 20mcg, that 2.5mcg bottle started emptying frighteningly fast. I’d sure like to buy some more – at higher concentrations!! So far I haven’t gotten any indication from Androtics whether P88 is difficult to synthesize or if it is just from lack of interest that it has long been out of stock. Like a number of putatives I have tried, P88 could, all by itself, be a company maker. Personally, I like it better than P96. It gets more dramatic results. That has a pretty aggressive tone, which would more appropriately be associated with androsteNone. I don’t think the effects of P88 are any less obvious. They are just less competitive, more parasympathetic. I don’t know if it is appropriate to call it “more hippie and less jock”. We’ll see what others have to report. ---
