> Add to that a long term experimentation… how does it combine with other things ? What are other people reporting ? Pheromones are non-linear, so you never know if what happens at dose level X will be the same basic thing as dose level Y, or does it do something else. Or Pheromone A+ Pheromone B may not be an average between the two, you might obtain a distinctly novel Pheromone C experience…

To the latter, it’s great that you bring this up. This is not dissimilar to a binaural beat – how you can run a frequency into one ear, and a slightly shifted one into the other, and the mind hears a distinctly different third beat in the _center of the head_ that is the difference of the two in hz.

I think it might do this with colors, too, although I don’t know the word for it (if there is one).

Almost no one knows this, but it’s not just cars that have blind spots… We do! We have a two blind spots in our normal visual field… What’s “right in front of us” isn’t. The brain is filling in, synthesizing, some of we think we see in these blind spots.

You can test this:
[The Optic Nerve](http://www.tedmontgomery.com/the_eye/optcnrve.html)

Optical illusions often take advantage of various optical tricks used in our visual processing.

Language processing wise, editing what you write, directly after you write it, is almost impossible due to the brain’s tendency to hallucinate and project what we think is correct. Some fields of psychology call this premature closure.

The brain really has a huge bag of tricks, and sometimes when you combine two pheromones together, you run into a border of one of these tricks. Until we know what these tricks are, mixes of 2 or more pheromones will indeed be unpredictable. I’m constantly amazed at some of the unexpected results that occur in a simple mix. Pheromone mixing is rarely like cooking – you often can’t get something good just by adding a “dash of this” and a “dash of that”, without significant prior experience to draw upon. From what I’ve seen of his approach, Emeril would be a terrible pheromonal chef.
