What doses have you tested so far? P86 was never on my list to try. There was so much information on this and other forums I decided to skip it. I get the feeling that it’s in [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) though based on what I have read. ---

Hi, you have posted and tested more than I dare replicate. Can you please provide me some shortcut as to which combo or pheromones provide to best hit that will lead to sex? I see your posted earlier on VL1 how did that goes? Thanks in advance! ---

Hi Phissith, Thanks for reading my reports/writings. As you know there is no real shortcut to having sex. Pheromones are like lipstick, hair extensions, makeup colored contacts…ect Pheromones are made to fool the senses just as lipstick and makeup are. With that in mind, pheromones tell the subconscious mind of a woman that you have certain health qualities that you may not actually possess. Depending on what you wear, pheromones can make you seem more youthful or more virile. of course I’m rambling on but the most effective strategy is setup in 3 stages. For the first meeting I use [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) (solo). For the second meeting I use IH + 2.5 mcg’s of Androstenone. For the wrap up date I use CTTM + 2.5 mcg’s of Androstenone. It is important not to pile up on the pheromones as I have found it will always lead to failure. I see guys wearing 1 spray of IH + 2 sprays of TUTH + 2 sprays of P83 + 2 sprays of P79 +2 sprays of P74 and they wonder why they failed. I agree in that piling of the pheromones can be a mess. I did this first starting out. Now I trend to wear just enough and nothing more. So I have to ask what is VL1? I don’t expect a detailed answer and it is OK if you can’t tell me just curious. ---

Hi Jistintime, VL1 is a putative that I discovered on or about March 11th, 2014 (see my journal entry on that date). I’ve summed VL1 up in various places on this forum but basically VL1 has the properties of Androstenedione (A1) without the stink or ill effects that A1 has. In essence it is better than Androstenedione. It gives women a lovey dovey feeling. It’s a molecule to romance women with. It goes very well with Androstenone. To tell the truth it’s kinda awesome. I am still in shock that no one has discovered this putative yet. Of course someone will eventually but at this point it looks like it may be at least 5 years before someone else “discovers” it. I chronicled my experiments with VL1 in my journal here starting March 11, 2014. I tested VL1 for about 6 months (?). I was hoping I could monetize my discovery. After all, who doesn’t want to make money from a great discovery? ---

Wow awesome. I just started branching out with my experimenting and started playing with A1 and Hedione. Well I am very interested in this and would love to buy some down the road and test if possible. I love A1 and if you are saying this is even better I am very interested. ---

Glad you are so eager to have some VL1. If Androtics wants VL1 they can have some…for a price. I tested A1 from 25 mcg’s to 260 mcg’s. My A1 testing is documented in this Journal starting on October 10th, 2011. ---

I have got amazing self effects from A1. I find this interesting because I read A1 only works on women and gay men. I have had luck at 12.5 MCG and I used 125 at one point not realizing it and I got no depression at all. I am now very interested in this journal as it is full of great knowledge. I am trying to read the whole thing there is just so much to read. ---

The death of A314? **The death of A314?** For those of you who are new to this situation or who don’t read the forums or who need to catch up here is the situation with A314. Sometime in March 2015 the last of A314 revision 32 was sold. A314 Naturelle and Royale I am laughing so hard right now. I am laughing so hard that tears are coming out of my eyes and I am peeing my pants! Looks like the old switcheroo was successfully pulled off. From the preliminary reports it looks like the people who ordered A314 through the now defunct [A3I4.com](http://A3I4.com) received A314 Royale V1. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha…whew! Where did A314 Royale V1 come from? Is it the broken batch… Ha, ha, ha, ha…OMG! Ha, ha, ha. No don’t tell me that. A314 Royale V1 is already being dubbed Royale with cheese (a nod to the movie Pulp Fiction). Not only does it not smell right but it’s also not acting right. A314 Naturelle V1 seems to be acting more like A314. Most of the reports are from 1st time A314 users. We are waiting for some of the Veterans to flesh it out. So far only JosieW is contributing but other Vets will chime in soon. ---

The death of A314 part 2 So I was going to post a bunch of speculations about what may have gone wrong with the A314 formula. I mean if you have a formula, why cant you just reproduce the same product with the same quality. While researching what may have happened I stumbled across this possible explanation Posted by former Androtics superstar Steve O: **BTW Steve posted this 2 years ago (in 2013) :** When I was creating Ascend it was a very long process of trial and error. Every time I wore A314 I just was amazed at the incredible results, but you are so right that with every revision something seemingly went out of whack. It got to the point with each new bottle I got, I had to sweet spot test all over again. I’m not sure why, AD would do that, but maybe it was just the same thing I ran into. When you are researching with exotic molecules, just like the one in Bliss, you start out with great intentions but other sources throw you for a loop. When I discovered the Bliss molecule it was a wow moment in pheromones for me. I found another that mimics it at a tiny fraction of what I currently use. Unfortunately its also more expensive that ALLO-THDOC. So you see now you take a component that the lab only has so much of because its super-expensive and you add it into a mix. I never thought the lab would one day turn around and say BTW, that molecule you order every month: Its out of stock and we are not synthesizing it anymore because it is to expensive and SteveO is the only guy who buys it. Sure we can make you a custom blend, but we need to do it in 15-25 gram batches cash up front. "You can probably figure out just how this can destabilize a company like Androtics who based their whole existence on rare exotic molecules just like Bliss. So you get blends like A314 that are no longer commercially viable with exotic molecules. So you are forced to change the blend because you have to remove that component that you can’t get anymore. So now you have to start testing other molecules to replace the one molecule that’s missing but in doing so you found out the new molecule doesn’t play well with another molecule. So now you change that one and then another and soon enough you have a product in name but component wise, a shell of its original self. I don’t believe it was done intentionally as that would mean they were hell-bent on destroying Androtics and I don’t see that either. However Androtics while saying on the front end they were advancing the science, they were simply using very solid marketing and there’s nothing wrong with good marketing, This created distrust though as mixes community members had spent thousands of dollars on in the advancing the science cause, vanished as did putatives too. So rather than just saying hey guys I know you loved this blend we got JS saying we got the data, we looked through your hard-earned expensive research and than you for that, but move on. There are other new untested mixes to now spend even more money on. It doesn’t work though because after you spent all this money figuring out what blend, what mix, what putative works best with who you are and your signature, they vanish. All you get is thanks for spending the money. We are not going to tell you what’s in the mix and even if we did you would still have to buy it only from us as a putative. Oh and those same putatives in the mix I’m not going to tell you whats in it anyway are gone too. So yeah rock and a hard place so best to just spin it with you don’t know what you’re talking about. Which brings us back full-circle to A314. I honestly don’t believe for a second Michael Harris created one of the greatest [pheromone blends](https://pheromonelabs.com/product-category/advanced/experimental/) to have it ultimately morph into an unrecognizable and expensive substitute. Which in turn brings us back to Ascend. I took all the things I remembered I loved about A314; the swagger, that alpha vibe that swept over me, the mad respect, the eye contact and at the same time left out the less than desirable stuff. The main component I eliminated was the non-approachability factor. I would cringe when guys would tell a new shy guy in his introduction to fake it. If a shy guy could fake being social he sure as hell wouldn’t need A314:dry: LOL So yeah IMHO A314 was always a solid product that Androtics struck liquid mone gold with. I’m certainly not in the know and don’t pretend to be, but as a small business owner dedicated to discovering and creating great pheromone mixes I personally wear, its better to plan ahead and most importantly be honest with those you consider friend and a part of the community. When you change something or leave out something because “nobody is going to know the difference anyway” you muddy your own credibility. I was fortunate to have created APi but shelved it because I never imagined I’d need a replacement. Don’t be hard on them my friend. I think they did the best they could with what they knew how to do. We can all go around looking under rocks to expose the worms, but sometimes its time to take a stand back and introspect why we are exposing those worms. I hope they get it back together and actually listen to their most valuable asset. Clients, when not outright dismissed after years of value will provide you with every thing you need to strive to excel." I’m not endorsing any of the products Steve O mentioned above but I found that it was crucial to the story to leave the names in. What Steve O posted looks similar to John Sebastian’s posted explanation of consistency and supply issues. ---

No one has a functioning crystal ball in front of them I assume, but a good guess would be a machine which can practically build anything its user desire, all on the molecular, and eventually atomic levels. Sure we are likely multiple decades away from widespread molecular manufacturing, but a group of chemists led by medical doctor [Martin D. Burke](http://www.scs.illinois.edu/burke/) at the University of Illinois may have already taken a major step in that direction. So I want to comment on Steve’s post a bit Paradox. I’ve never seen this before, and this goes along with what I remember about my conversations with Steve. I’ve never heard a negative comment from him about Androtics. So I found it confusing to come back here last year when some jerk started dragging up old threads and bashing Steve. I found it dismal to come back this year and not find anyone that I really knew and through some searching found lots of negative comments about Androtics. The problem is, we all want the intimidation and overly high respect factor of A314. So maybe they don’t have the pheromone that creates that oomph anymore. If you check the website, p90 and p85 are no longer available. I believe there was also a p105 that is no longer there. P86, androsterone, and a few others are out of stock. ---

P86, androsterone, and a few others are out of stock. Like Steve O speculated…those molecules might not be available anymore. I was looking at what it takes to synthesize molecules and some molecules take many steps to synthesize. Some of the steps in the synthesis of testosterone include breaking off or cleavage of the side chain of cholesterol by the mitochondrial cytochrome P450 enzyme, CYP11A. This causes the cholesterol to lose 6 carbon atoms to give pregnanolone. Next, the CYP17A enzyme present in the endoplasmic reticulum removes two more carbon atoms to give various C19 steroids. Oxidation of the C19 steroid’s 3-hydroxyl group gives androstenedione. The next step is a vital one and is termed a rate-limiting step. A rate-limiting step is a stage which, if blocked, prevents the synthesis of a compound. In this case, the 17 carbon ketone group androstenedione is reduced by 17-β hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase to produce testosterone. The more complex the synthesis, the higher the cost of the molecule. The rarer the ingredients used in a molecule synthesis, the higher the cost of the molecule. The longer it takes to synthesize a molecule, the higher the cost of the molecule. Also, some steroids are banned in the US and some chemical companies no longer wish to make steroids. Last I saw Sigma Aldrich no longer makes most of the molecules that are used in [pheromone colognes](https://a314.com/shop/). I’m not a scientist or a chemist BTW. I just read alot. ---
