i’ve been wondering if there are certain people that are more sensitive to [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) than others? how will i know what my sweet spot really is if some people seem more affected than others? there is one woman at my job who sits accross from me and i think she gets affected with very low doses.

also, are asians more prone to be affected by pheromones ie chinese, japanese? my supevisor is chinese and he’s been acting like it’s affecting him and the other day i noticed our waitress at the asian buffet was very smiley with me as opossed to with other patrons.

what mones/androtics products are people usually allergic to? my so has very bad allergies and don’t want to cause him any breathing problems, but i still want to use pheromones!!!

i think those are my questions for now but i will think of more as i learn, i’m sure.

Based on self effect, I’m _personally_ not sensitive to Shine (a sense of calm at best after applying 4 sprays of x2 shine) while I seem to have a sensitivity to IO (serious distraction, headaches, etc. when I use more than 1 spray of x2). So sensitivity not only differs from person to person, but from molecule to molecule. Really though, that makes sense given our highly individualized differences in brain chemistries and perceptual systems.

I was actually wondering about that too. I’m Chinese and I sprayed my newly bought [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) on myself and sat next to my mom. Within 10 mins, my mom felt so sleepy that she went and took a nap. I also felt dizziness and sort of _cloudy_ after that one spray.

My Chinese neighber who is usually fairly polite to me, saw me and told me that I HAD to take some designer shoes off of her hands, and kept smiling and touching me.

Meanwhile, that one spray apparently had no effects on my Latino and white neighbers.

Conclusion: Asian have low tolerences of pheromones? I feel like more experimentation is needed, but so far all the people who have been strongly affected by Instant Shine have been Asian… and I only used 1 spray from regular strength.

Well, I’m not a good example on the effects of pheromones on asians (or race…? or am I?) but I’m half Chinese, half German/Irish and Shine had little to no effect on me. IO to the contrary kills me.

D: I haven’t tried the IO that I bought yet, but Shine is scary on how effective it is. I was putting up my jacket and I caught a whiff of Shine and automatically I started smiling… it was a whiff too…

Maybe its just people in my family and my neighbor that have such strong reactions to [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/)? But does anyone know, how Asian react on a whole?

I think my biggest problem is that I pretty much OD on Instant Shine before it could have any effects on anyone else. I don’t think the dosage could get smaller than 1 spray of regular strength.

Your sweet spot is not one single dosage its generally a range. For instance I see results with IS/A in the 3 to 5 spray range. More then that doesn’t increase results and less then that doesn’t get me any results from anyone. I get more hits with a wider range of people with 5 sprays and less with 3 sprays. So your looking for the range you see the most results in. It can be tough for some users with Ishine because people dont always reveal a feeling of happiness or upliftment. Repeated testing usually makes it more clear to you though.

I wouldn’t say more prone to be affected. They tend to have preferences for certain mones. We all do. For instance Asian women (those born and brought up in Asian culture) tend to not like high anone signatures. Studies have shown that women tend to attract to those with the similar signatures as there fathers or male role models. Asian men do not produce as much anone as other races.

Asians tend to respond very well to the social uplifting pheromones. Anything overly aggressive they tend to not like. Asian/Americans those who grew up more outside there culture and have been exposed more to different races/cultures at a young age dont show this preference as strongly. Just so you know the socials dont contain anone and the female mixes have little if any. I find TAL which is a more female aggressive dominant mone to distance Asian women from me more then any other mone females wear. Its more of a respect over a dislike though.

OD in the way most people use the term here doesn’t really occur with Ishine. You do have to consider your boyfriends allergies though. Its more likely that he would react adversely to the scent carrier then the actual pheromones. How were his allergies around one spray and how does he do around perfume in general ?

This is a totally normal reaction to pheromones when you use them the first few times, especially Ishine. Ishine tends to be like a caffeine high and it can sort of shock the neurotransmitters a bit. You probably inhaled some of the wet molecules when you sprayed it on and sat next to your mom shortly after applying so it was a fresh dose so I am not surprised by this reaction. Generally it passes after you use it a few times. Just like your body becomes accustomed to caffeine.

I tried multiple combinations of Instant shine, Instant honesty, cttm, IS/A, IS/B, and TUTH and weirdly enough either a low dosage of TUTH or a average dosage of a combination of Instant shine and Instant honesty worked the best with Asian men. Yet when I used IS/A and Instant shine more asian women respond. I need to type up my phero-journal.

thanks so much for the input trish. the range of the sweet spot makes a lot of sense. my supervisor was brought up in asian culture but has been living here for like 15 years so maybe he does prefer the social mones which is all i have right now. my so is allergic to a lot of things and hasn’t really shown a reaction to my perfume which is wild by ralph lauren. all the mones i have so far are neroli scented, so i have to do more testing with him. i do want to try other scents though, i think he would be more allergic to florals as he is allergic to flowers, so maybe the candy scents will be ok, i guess i’ll find out.

There’s some interesting reports suggesting that Asians are more sensitive to specific pheromones such as Androstenone however officially I don’t think we’ve seen enough hard data to suggest its a fact.

But do some research on yourself and see what comes up. I personally don’t know.

I haven’t had sensitivity issues with Asians that I do encounter, granted they are few and far between, but when I do, it’s been pretty positive.

I think like how the other members have said it, that it is all about the cultural upbringing that really changes the perception. Typical conservative upbringing will usually rear the effects of the given molecule because they don’t know how to externally act with the feelings they get from your, I don’t think it’s a different sensitivity, I think it’s the outlet in which to express those emotions/feelings that people seem to think of the sensitivity.

This is a good theory, and very very likely. I wore A314, [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/), etc. around in Osaka, Japan - I had no adverse affect nor any extreme changes. However, TAF seemed to make the locals feel more comfortable with me.
