I have recently been really interested in possibly doing some perfume/cologne making through fragrance and essential oils, and powders. Can anyone recommend me some books in this subject? The 2 best books in this area are $300 by Arctander and $125 Jellinek. This is a little bit out of my price range currently, so I’m looking for cheaper options, but books that are really good. Thanks 😃

Thanks Jim, for redirecting revivia to this thread. Only because you seriously don’t need to spend THAT much on a book! Really, I’m sure perfume making gets more complex, but for the basics the videos and the links denec posted in my thread will get you started right away. Only thing you have to do, which is also something I have to start doing right away is to start your large collection of EOs. Not even that many really, look up at what is currently used in colognes just by reading up the notes of popular colognes and just start copying those mixes of notes or mix them up yourself. Follow your nose young one!
