# Perfumes and their manufacture

So glad there’s a lounge! I was just playing on the forum and reading a couple of the perfum, parfum, cologne questions; I remembered this:

Since lots of people have expressed interest in perfumes and how they’re formulated; and I didn’t know where else to post this, I’m doing it here. This is a link I shared with 1Alpha, when he noted a curiosity about the brewing of scent. And it is brewing! 😃

[Damask Perfumery](http://www.damaskperfumery.com.au/fragrantfacts.php?pag_id=35)

is a small, independent perfumery that’s been in business for over 20 years.

He even produced some (better than the original) perfumes inspired by commercial big house perfumes. I didn’t like Poison; too fruity and that’s dangerous in Oz. Flies and bees will follow, land and be quite determined to find what they smell. 😮 And you know what happens if you panic around bees. Flies kinda speak for themselves 😮. His Fleur du Mal was seriously better than a mass produced phero-blocking commercial purple smelly mess.

His originals are just divine. Enjoy.

this is awesome, while I’m sure it will cost an arm and a leg I like the idea of eventually having my own custom scent made up for me.

…that and the dream that one day Androtics will formulate an Instant RAD mix and add it to the commercial line but yanno, when you dream dream big. 😃

Dude, just wait for the USD to bounce back; generally speaking by then, the AUD won’t be as strong. A better exchange rate can take a lot of pain away . . . 😃
