Hey does anyone know of any good books that will help with communication-persuasion? For example the ability to quickly gain credibility/or clout in the middle of a conversation.

Ok and what do you think would be great for sending subliminal messanges during a convo? Would the same book also be recommended for that? Not necessarily a just seduction book but something I guess that can include but also for everyday stuff.
I say this because I will be dealing with alot of people and etc like that in the next few months and I just want to be able to have the advatange at all times.

OMG, Jasmin is an expert on this: How d I know? She sends me a package a day from Amazon with books and the sort.

Currently I am reading Blink by Malcolm Gladwell, and on deck s the Psychology of Influence.

Then there are the CD courses and Internet courses. I will be busy for the next fifteen years.

Well, I personally would love to hear about the ones you’ve found particularly interesting/helpful over the course of those next fifteen years!

Blink is a great book - a real eye-opener (no pun intended).

Do you mean Influence: The Psychology Of Persuasion (Cialdini)? The Psychology Of Persuasion: How to Persuade Others to Your Way of Thinking (Hogan)? Something else?

I was wondering the same thing as well.

Sounds like you’re talking about NLP or a form of conversational hypnosis, which takes years to learn.

The aforementioned books are great for having the upperhand, but not for sending ‘subliminal messages’ via hypnosis.

How To Win Friends and Influence People is an ok book, but I honestly thought it was overhyped. It still wouldn’t hurt to read or atleast skim through.

The Psychology Of Persuasion (Cialdini) \<~~ probably the best to start out with.

Bandler is on another level, and you really will not understand the purpose of his products on the conscious level. His sole purpose is to teach you NLP using NLP.

My advice to you is to spend some time on forums of interest and see what others are saying what works and what doesn’t. In other words, if you want to learn about NLP, visit an NLP related forum and read posts regarding the subject.

Just remember that in order to acquire a skillset, you have to practice it, thus you will not have these ingrained into your personality without time well spent applying them.

In other words, don’t expect a magic pill. There aren’t any magic formulas to success - it is earned by hard work.
