For those of you who don’t know my issues, here is a brief summary… I have been in a LTR for 15 years, married for 8, basically I wanted to spice things up a bit in the bedroom department where the frequency was found lacking… I have just tried [Instant Female Magic](https://a314.com/product/instant-female-magic/) and my wife doesn’t like it at all 😮 She is telling me that it is I ‘smell’ like a person she can’t stand !!! I know that these are the pheromones speaking, but I didn’t think I would get a reaction like this when I am wearing IFM… TUTH why not (I could be seen as a sexual predator) but IFM??? I thought Instant Female Magic was supposed to be working miracle in soothing and relaxing women, even adding a bit of attraction… What is happening ???🙄 ---

IFM smells pretty funky. Do you ever wear cologne? Might not be a bad idea to cover that puppy! ---

I’ll try with some cologne I have and see what is happening… I can’t smell a thing when I put IFM on though (just the alcohol…)☹ ---

jc, maybe try some P83? It wouldn’t hurt to cover it, if she’s sensitive, just to be sure. It gives me an effect similar to [Instant Female Magic](https://a314.com/product/instant-female-magic/). That is one adorable bambina you have there!!! 🙂 😃 ---

I have wondered myself about the effects of a radically changed phero-signature on those closest to the wearer, like friends, family and LTRs. Perhaps it is the radical unfamiliarity that your wife is uncomfortable with, rather than the IFM per se. Did you put a great deal of it on initially? ---

hmmm… I can only think that one might just gradually build up the vibe by applying 1/2 spray one day, or even week, until the person becomes acclimatised to it, and then going up in 1/2 spray increments…? But I dunno really. There do seem to be many people on the forum with spouses who don’t get the same sort of reactions. So maybe your wife is particularly sensitive to [pheromones](https://a314.com/) (both natural and artificial). Which, of course, could actually turn out to be a very good thing once you find the right mix and have “pitched” it in the right way. ---

You change it by going slow…without knocking her out of the ballpark with heavy doses. At first stick to the same mix, don’t wanna start confusing her even more by switching things up too soon. There’s plenty of time for that later. I know you’re in a hurry, Hot Pants 😃 but take it easy you’ll get there. 😉 Give that little cutiepie a kiss from Auntie Bella. 🙂 ---

What Bella said. I commented in your journal - but some people get a strong reaction at first from people who know them well - spouses and moms especially. Go slow at first. IFM for when the British arrive and [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) as a warm smooth signature might not be a bad idea. I talk about it more in depth in my thread for married guys in my signature block. ---

Can’t agree more with everyone here on this thread.. good advice. The p83 you have is scented with neroli I guess. I have unscented p83 myself, so when I use that I have to cover it. ---
