Howdy all! Just wondering the best method of mone storage. I keep my house at a nice 74 degrees f no matter how hot the sun is blazing outside, and I have a nice cool, dark, guest bathroom that sees little traffic…

But I was curious… does anyone here store them in the fridge? Is that the best method?

Cool dark place. I’ve found a rubbermaid container under the bed works for me. Biggest enemy is sunlight followed by evaporation if the lids aren’t tight. Togos left in a car console can evaporate even if the lids are tight. ☹ Refrigeration is probably overkill and hard to explain to ‘innocent bystanders’. 🙂

Just sittin around in the dark of my phero room in the tropical Australian summer heat has not lessened the effects of my numerous [pheromone formulas](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) and mixes and some of them are many years old.

I think direct sunlight will cause deterioration of the pheros and also being exposed to the air without the caps secured.

Also i have had some 1/2 dozen mixes in 5 ml to go sprayers sittin around in the console of my car during the hottest of Australian summer days heat and even after a few seasons exposure they have not evapourated or lost their potiency.

Maby there is heat involved in the manufacture of the pheromone crystals and also formulations ect.

The only precautions i take is to keep them outa the direct sunlight and i keep the caps secure and also when distributing and mixing i use clean droppers and storage containers and do not have the mones exposed for any lemgth of time to the atmosphere…

The only one i ever kept in my refrigerator was 30 mls of Liquid Trust and even after 3 years it was still potient when i used around 4 sprays.

Thanks for the replies!

Nah, I don’t have to worry about innocent bystanders. The only people in my fridge are me, my wifey, and possibly my best friend.

But yeah, I have a nice cool room, some rubbermaid containers and the room is pretty dark…

Ah I am so excited… Really eager for my first shipment to arrive!

Fast and simple: Keep away from light and heat and you are good.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I noticed that my TUTH started to lose its -none smell and now it smells just like regular neroli. But the potency is still there.
