# Pheromone cycling

How often does everyone cycle their [pheromones](https://a314.com/)(if you do cycle)?

I hear that many pheromones are sometimes hard to wash off in the shower, so it’s best not to be using pheromones on a daily basis without some time off.

I am going 5 days on, and 2 days off.

That sounds fine - At its most general, I try for one phero-free day following a good hot bath a week. Although it does tend to slip a bit sometimes and one/two days per fortnight is more realistic! :o

Also, unless I’m pursuing a particular mix in the widest range of situations, I do tend to go for different mixes on weekends, compared to weekdays, so that helps balance things a bit.
