Hey guys,

Quick question: At what distance are you seeing pheromonal effects with each of our scents or bases (Neroli, Akuto, Ammo, Game, etc.)?

Do any of the scents seem to make some of the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) travel out there and work better than others?

AKuto if its MX113 to MX116 .. They seem to provide positive results of some sort. Makes people friendly, talkative, confidence level is boosted and stuff ..

Akuto seems to have better range, but the observations may be due to different [pheromone](https://a314.com/shop/) mixes. I don’t have Game yet.

You might want a test kit with the same phero mix in each of the fragrances if you want better data.

I think light [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) (TUTH version) travel close to 3 metres, while Ammo is around 2 metres.

Ammo scent is heavier, so I use less. Maybe that is the reason ?

Edit: I’m speaking of effects, not scent.

I’ve had difficulty determining phero diffusion by scent alone. A-none (in TUTH) is less diffusive than, say a-nol. It would be interesting to experiment with the scents and both highly diffusive and low diffusive molecules.

I have mixing supplies with DPG (unscented) as well as the light neroli scent, but to do anything more than play around with it we would need a standardized set of scent concentrations and a standardized phero mix. I started notes on doing a series of experiments with scents and the L-S chemistry set; but I didn’t get beyond the notebook.

Are you psychic, TB? Or maybe great minds just think alike! 😉 We have that planned, once a few other things are out of the way. The weekly freebies & test packs are a stress on us production-wise, but they’re going to enable us to do good (& necessary) stuff like that.

We were thinking of dropping the essential oil components in Turn Up The Heat, and going with the [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) alone. They’re “hot oils” that do add to the effect, but they really do reduce the reach of the product. This is good, of course, if you want people to only “Feel the heat” as they get up close.

We should do a survey to see how people use this – as an “attractant” (where diffusion matters) or to “Turn up the heat” in appropriate situations (where we should leave Turn Up The Heat alone).

I really like the oils used in TUTH right now… VERY sexy. But I also see your point about the diffusion. I want to be able to access the current spicy scent version, even if you guys change it…

For me, that’d be a shame.

I’d probably propose the opposite as I like TUTH oil base more way more than the neroli.

I don’t mind TUTH with oil base alone .. actually that is how I’ve been trying to convert it to by adding base oil to it.

I don’t know about the distance but like neroli you can smell it all the time oppose to cologne you smell only for 3 secs after you apply it on. Also game does not smell very good, it has an artificial smell or chemical smell to it , definitely not cologne quality. But then they are just test mixes.
I do really enjoy the purdy girl smell of IS and IO for some reason, I can just get high off the smell. I really like to try akuto to see what it’s like.

I think Game (Fragrance 6) smells really awesome, and so does my distractant. Definitely cologne quality. Depends heavily on what it’s got in it though pheromone wise.

IShine and IOpen, I agree with you, that stuff is active! [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) especially, that stuff just makes my brain melt. I can feel it as much as I can smell it.

Oh dear..

Don’t know whether to laugh or cry here..

My female friend picked up a neroli-scented ISexi/W (without having a clue it was anything to do with pheromones), which is the only one I have NOT doctored with EW, gave it a sniff and stated, “Why the hell would you have a perfume that smells of Orange Glo Oxy-Clean, Ail?”

Yes…great…

I don’t particularly love the neroli fragrance myself at ALL, and find anything I have from Androtics with Chocolatini (almost everything nowadays) definitely has MUCH better diffusion, but this is the first time someone has actually commented on the scent..

Off out now..with Chocolatini-fragranced IO.. 🙂

Ail 🙂

I’ve only smelled the Neroli and Chocolatini and agree with Ail that Chocolatini has much better diffusion and also lasts much longer (all day on me).

However, I like to wear other fragrances and the powerful Chocolatini interferes with that, unless I’m wearing a gourmand or musk that blends with it. For pheromone use, I prefer to keep their scent subtle so I can apply as MUCH as I want and then use the scent of my choice.

I would LOVE a really good Egyptian musk/vanillic fragrance that would layer well with many of my top-of-the-line fine fragrances, and I suspect with Carrie being as much of a fragrance guru as myself, she would also adore that.

Dolly, Ilsa and The Countess too, I bet would rate a fragrance option of that type.

Lor I know, prefers lighter, more fruity scents, but they do NOT work for me one iota..

Hey Michael - are you listening to us girlies, here? 🙂

Ail 🙂

Yes, an Egyptian musk sounds lovely and I would expect it would cover pheros very well. I’d like it be a warmer musk than the one that’s in the neroli/musk scent used currently.

Jasmin asked about phero effect distance … if you’re talking about being able to smell them, I’d say neroli has about a 4-6 foot cloud but only for 5 minutes, then it’s very close to the body, maybe 1-2 feet at most, after that.

Chocolatini has at least a 6 foot diffusion radius but diminishes very, very gradually over a number of hours.

I haven’t had the opportunity as of yet to try out the chocolatini fragrance yet, but I would like to see a ‘warmer’ musk type of fragrance additive as one of the choices to be added to the mones. I prefer warmer perfumes, and I think that a musky scent would blend better with those.

I don’t mind the neroli musk fragrance so much. But several of the first bottles of pheromones, which I initially purchased from Androtics, definitely had a stronger orange fragrance than anything I have bought lately from them. I don’t know why it is different. Has anyone else noticed this?

Here is a passage from another website pertaining to the distance at which our olfactory glands can detect a fragrance:

\*" **For thousands of years, perfumes were rubbed on the torso or the legs, never on the wrists or earlobes. When you wear clothes, your body heats the air around your body. This causes the air to rise toward your highest opening in your clothes. As the heated air rises, it picks up the pheromones secreted from your skin, and as this air emerges around your face, it causes people to look at you and notice your face. It takes about one second for your smells to reach someone 50 feet away on still air. "** \*

I am not sure if I personally believe that you could detect pheromones 50 feet away. But I have generally observed that anyone within five to six feet of me is reacting to my pheromones. I think that this distance may be greater if I have been enclosed in a small room for a while with someone, and the room is infused with my pheromone cloud.

I think a nice scent for women would be one that is a favorite of a friend of mine… it smelled like warm sugared vanilla spice. The vanilla had some sort of warm undertone, and then it was sweet and had a spice to it too. It was very nice, although too feminine IMO for a hetero guy to wear. In fact I think the scent oil was called Vanilla Spice, come to think of it. It was very comforting, attractive and sexy.
