So I guess a couple questions come to mind.

1. Are there people with naturally high levels of [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/)..maybe think James Bond..who can walk in a room and the reason people notice him isn’t because of his looks, his body, his wealth…but because there is just “something” about him they find attractive…aka mones? Though this does lead me to a side question about this.

You walk into a place that is filled with what you would consider “alpha” males. Men with the looks, the money, the power, the charm…honestly many of the visual qualities women would look for in a man..but then you have a handful of geeks/nerds..the type that visually don’t meet the a-typical visual thumbs up a woman often seeks. Is the theory that with mones…this geek, for whatever reason, stands a chance of standing out amongst the “alpha” males because there is simply “something” about his presence that makes him attractive to these women?

How is it supposed to work whether you are at a bar, club, church or wherever and your using mones to attract the opposite sex…yet the women (or men) are being bombarded with scenes, natural pheromones..maybe even a group of men are wearing synthetic mones, and “you” are supposed to stand apart from them to that woman? I am asking these out of pure curiosity and also understanding.

1. What happens to a woman or man if they are in the presence of a lot of people wearing mones. Is there a natural detection process that the smeller and their individual DNA can “pick out” of a group of mone users…because the mones bind to the persons natural scent creating a unique and individual presence?

I mean obviously existing looks, status, wealth, confidence, power, energy, carisma, etc.. all play very important roles in attraction of the opposite sex…so if someone naturally has those qualities..do the mones simply make it more of an “icing on the cake”?

1. Say you walk into a crowded place and you are wearing mones. How, out of a ton of people, do you get picked or “eyed” from a distance as someone of interest? This is what I don’t get about this pheromone theory…I have read journals on here of guys claiming they walk out of the bathroom after applying mones and right when they walk out, see someone across the room basically eye "fu\*king them…as if the mones traveled that quickly and the other person just happened to pick YOU out of a place with hundreds of people.

I am asking these general questions about group scenarios just to get an understanding of how mones work..hell I care about making the only woman in my life super happy and believing in me again let alone worrying about groups of people.

Just throwing some questions into the wind…hope to generate some discussion.

Thanks

Pheromones are basically signals. They work mostly subconsciously on others, to influence their perception of you. They’re carried by scent and when that leads back to you, then you’re set. But you have to fill the role, or else it’ll go nowhere. There’s a word we like to throw around here called “congruence”.
Look, the key to using 'mones to their full potential can be summed up in seven words:

_act as if, and it shall be._

Talk the talk and follow it up with a nice walk, and you’re good! If you get that down, you don’t even _need_ 'mones! But they definitely make it that much better. 🙂

> Are there people with naturally high levels of pheromones

Pheromones reflect (and themselves) modulate your endocrine status, which itself is a consequence of the thoughts and feelings you have about yourself, others and your relation to them.

Just seen your sports team win a big game? Your testosterone levels will be higher, and very likely this will shape your pheromonal output in a way that influences how people (nubile women included) will respond to you.

I am sure that you are right that there are some people with a naturally very attractive pheromonal output - whether this is literally a ‘high’ output is open to question. Testosterone generally, although productive of behaviours attractive to women, can weaken your immune system (as well as induce a great deal of wear and tear from the jousting it leads to). So a man with high pheromonal output must have something going for him if he is still walking around healthy and unharmed.

As one of our most insightful forum participants observed, the late tacitus, pheromones may act as social and emotional learning tools. By opening up social possibilities and giving you some experiences of success where they were not before present, they can allow you to develop yourself to a much higher level than would be easily feasible without. But although they open doors, you still need to do the work to reap the maximum benefit.

Of course many women respond viscerally to power and accomplishment. It’s not that looks don’t matter to women, but for many (and this is shaped by culture), they are secondary to other more important characteristics. The funny thing is that it’s not first order a rational ‘gold-digging calculation’ that changes how women respond to you as you become more successful; accomplishment changes how you hold yourself, your conversation, the social risks you take and the same man that no girl looked at a year ago may be seen as ‘hot’ after the passage of time has allowed him to reap the rewards of projects on which he might have been working. I should mention also that pheromones shape perception via the visual field - pretty amazing that our sense of smell should affect vision, but that is how it works.

The best answer to this question is to try it and see. A book could be written about the nuances of pheromone use, emotional learning and social dynamics. Some mones - partic androstenone - are very directional and people can identify the wearer rather precisely (provided the dose is reasonable and background not too confusing). In very high doses one may see indirect hits where the most dominant looking man in the room is presumed to be the emitter and may receive the benefit of the hit. If you’re concerned about benefiting fully from your signature then take action befitting what you are projecting.

Honestly, the best answer is if you can afford the experiment to try it and see. It sounds unbelievable, but there can be the most amazing long-range hits. Nobody has yet figured out why - whether it is due purely to molecules travelling that far in a way that allows identification of the location of the source; or whether there might be some kind of energetic impact whereby your pheromonal signature might shape the vibrations you emit in a way that can be picked up by others. It can really be a mistake to substitute a theoretical opinion based on ‘science’ for the evidence of one’s senses built up over time when the state of the official theory is rather green and incomplete. Not that one shouldn’t ponder the possibility that one is seeing something that isn’t real - but one shouldn’t rule it out just because it doesn’t seem to make any sense.

Mones might be part of the solution (and a very powerful one), but you might explore other components. What are the biggest areas you need to change? Have you read any of the blogs applying Game to relationships? Athol Kay is not bad, but there are others that are worth a read.

Maybe the Victorian gentlemanly empiricist approach to science (something one sees traces of in this forum) was actually not so much inferior in certain respects to modern ‘rigorous’ ‘statistically-based’ ‘science’.

> Before the effectiveness of a drug can be confirmed, it must be tested and tested again. Different scientists in different labs need to repeat the protocols and publish their results. The test of replicability, as it’s known, is the foundation of modern research. Replicability is how the community enforces itself. It’s a safeguard for the creep of subjectivity. Most of the time, scientists know what results they want, and that can influence the results they get. The premise of replicability is that the scientific community can correct for these flaws.
>
> But now all sorts of well-established, multiply confirmed findings have started to look increasingly uncertain. It’s as if our facts were losing their truth: claims that have been enshrined in textbooks are suddenly unprovable. This phenomenon doesn’t yet have an official name, but it’s occurring across a wide range of fields, from psychology to ecology. In the field of medicine, the phenomenon seems extremely widespread, affecting not only antipsychotics but also therapies ranging from cardiac stents to Vitamin E and antidepressants: Davis has a forthcoming analysis demonstrating that the efficacy of antidepressants has gone down as much as threefold in recent decades.
>
> For many scientists, the effect is especially troubling because of what it exposes about the scientific process. If replication is what separates the rigor of science from the squishiness of pseudoscience, where do we put all these rigorously validated findings that can no longer be proved? Which results should we believe? Francis Bacon, the early-modern philosopher and pioneer of the scientific method, once declared that experiments were essential, because they allowed us to “put nature to the question.” But it appears that nature often gives us different answers.

Though this does lead me to a side question about this.

Pheromones are just a tool, a part of attraction. There are other factors when it comes to attraction. Its a combination of

Visual, how you look, the way you carry yourself (body language) symmetry

Olfactory, pheromones, the signals that they send about you. Masculinity, virility, the way we make a person feel when we are around them.

Verbal, compatibility, intelligence. personality

Logic based conscious preferences like wealth, style, values and status.

I am sure I left some out but its not just one of those things that causes attraction its a combination of them. One of them on there own may grab someones attention but attraction occurs when you have multiple qualities the other person prefers. Your not going to attract every single women with pheromones. They dont work that way. They are just a tool to convey information and feeling. One part of helping you “stand out”. Like Pheroquirk and noble mentioned you need to work with them.

Well dbot posted a great Aura theory in another post you should read. Pheromones may be connected to how we carry selves as well.

> Accurate Reporting and Observer Effects One of the major issues in determining the actual effects of any pheromone application is the fact that your behavior is altered just by being studied. This occurs in a number of different ways. The first is through a psychosocial phenomenon known as the [Hawthorne Effect](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawthorne_effect). The effect gets its name from the Hawthorne Works factory outside of Chicago, in which researchers attempted to study the effects of various lighting conditions on worker productivity. …

But basically we all leave a chemical vapor trail that leads to us. Just like most of the time you are aware of where light or sound is coming from without much thought people know where those chemical signals are coming from so I would say yes there is a natural detection process that we all possess.
