Is it me or does it seem like your dopamine, serotonin and gaba neurotransmitter take a hit everytime you wear any [pheromone products](https://a314.com/shop/). Ive been wearing pheromones for a little over a year and for some reason my brain sometimes tells me that I dont need to wear pheromone and im guessing its because pheromone products decrease my dopamine levels.

I think that pheromones get people addicted to you like a drug because theyre releasing dopamine, gaba(with the socials) and adrenaline. So thats something to consider, what do you guys think?

Also Ive been taking a ltyrosine supplement(precusor to dopamine; aka turns into dopamine and adrenaline through a biosynthesis steps) and ive feel alot more energize and like the self-effect of my pheromones are alot more noticeable on me and i feel better and feel like socializing more.

i couldnt ‘not’ comment on this question after reading it

This was a really refreshing - deep - question. One I admire. One I also say is slightly out of my sphere of confidence.

Seek a consultation with Mobocaster, if anyone I’ve encountered on this board would know - he will - well.

A question, stating the obvious. An unsubstantiated and disproved claim that tyrosine on its own raises transmitter levels (you notice placebo) and a redundant reply, fishing for the “wisdom of the sage” Mobocaster who is no pharmacologist to my knowledge.

There are so many sources on the internet where you could look for information concernign your question - though no no high-quality research has been conducted or made public on this topic - this place is not one of them.

This forum has seen much better days. As has the company. No coincidence here.

I want to speak up because this is not a new question. I asked a similar question on the impact of pheromone use for long periods in 2010. It’s also one of the reasons I took a 4 year break.

> So I have been reading, and reading, and reading posts. There is one question that comes into mind when I think about [synthetic pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/). Your body believes that the pheromones that you created come from you right? Over time does the body begin to decrease natural pheormone production in response to the synthetic pheromones? I know that if you continue to use certain hormones, the body may reduce or even stop the production of those same hormones in an attempt to maintain balance. This is why …

A similar question was asked about how [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) affect your own pheromone production.

Knowing that the body does not need to make these chemicals itself, it simply stops. This creates an addiction: a necessary bodily function stops working because a synthetic chemical was temporarily doing the work for the body. The drug then becomes NECESSARY t…

Do pheromones impact hormones? Yes. Why wouldn’t they? They are byproducts of hormones. The ‘hits’ we are often looking for are changes in hormones in the targets we are actually after. Dopamine is a hormone.

Here is an article that talks about the hormonal effects of pheromones: [Human Pheromones](http://www.macalester.edu/academics/psychology/whathap/ubnrp/pheromone10/human%20pheromones.html)

I agree GorchFock, this forum has seen better days.

Havent been on the forum much to notice “better” days. As for the company, yes I agree. Order IG, p74 and IS before and theyre telling me that they couldnt ship anything out due to shipping problems which might have been true but I found it odd that they coild ship me a little togo bottle of instant shine which is a little fishy to me.

Good point but it has been proven that tyrosine does convert to dopamine, norepinephrine and epinephrine(adrenaline).

Anyways youre off-topic, My question is do you think pheromones decrease certain nerotransmitter over time when used consistently?

So, are ‘you’ a pharmacologist, and better qualified to answer than Mobocaster?

Since Mobocaster ‘is not a pharmacologist to your knowledge’ - explain yours.

Instead of vaguely referencing the ‘so many sources on the internet’, why dont you educate us?

Lead the renaissance of the board, be the beacon of revival.

Very interesting topic.

I do find certain pheromones I do need to take a break from to get that great feeling back like IS.

I am certain pheromones do something with Gaba and either neurotransmitters.

I am no scientist I just know how I feel after a few days of using certain pheromones.

I did not mean to come about too harsh, I apologize for that. I experience a base level of frustration nowadays whenever I check back here on my once beloved [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/)-resource, my fault for venting it your way.

I’m a veterinary doctor with 6 years of formal training, 3 more into a special field, with a decent paharmology component and a natural interest into those things amunting for further countless hours of informal education on the matter. I’ve Phd-graded friends in fields of pharmacology, molecular science and human medicine with wich I leisurely discuss various clinical topics.

I don’t care for providing sources on this board - my take is, those who are genuinely interested in those topics will do their internet-based research anyway, and those who fail are not qualified to look into it anyway - which will fortunatley not enable them to spread more misinformation in a www full of it.
There is also a decent search function on here where you can read up what has been covered of iton pherotalk before.

No need to try to grab me by my patriotic honour and stating clichees about Germany. Concerning neuroscience, esp. neuropsychoendocrinology, Germany is far behind the anglosphere in the regard of top-research-institutions - life science in general.
With a few honourable xceptions and a less crass gap in the private industry … on the other hand the broad and basic scentific community and level of education is orders of magnitudes more solid than in the USoA imho.

I’m also one to advise to refrain from discsussing physiological implications of mone-usage on the commercial boards … it might just lead to the prying eyes and ears of the industry or health-authorities to deny us our beloved hobby in the long term by bans and monopolistation

Everyone just needs to understand exactly what this board is. A repository of information. Is it a peer reviewed journal?? No. Is everyone here a scientist? No. But I would guess there are some poking around. Do you have to be a scientist to contribute something useful? No. Can scientists add something useful to the conversation? Absolutely. Is there some false and misleading stuff on here? Yes. Is everything false and misleading? No.

So with all that being said, you have to take everything you read here with a grain of salt, and balance out the information you are reading with your own experiences and test results. I put more weight in posts from certain members than others. I make up my own mind as to what members are sincere in their postings, and which ones are not. I have gotten pretty good at it. If someone is sincere, and they are trying their best to learn more about these molecules, and post their findings honestly, that is useful to me.

So if you have a need for pure scientific method based research, this aint your place. But if your looking for ways to use these mones better, it is a great place.

I like analogies. (Not scientific I know) The board reminds me a bit about the “Weather forecasting rock” at the novelty shop. If the rock is wet, its raining. 🙂

Gorch -

Now that is a meaningful reply, and impressive. Doing some quick math backwards from your degrees and looking at your age, you are an interesting person. And one whose opinions and assertions carry some weight with all that academia behind them.

I actually placed my coffee down and smiled while I read your post. Loved it! I understand from where you are coming, understandable.

I called you out for subtly downgrading another member who, while perhaps not credentialed as you, is well informed, and if you fact check what he says - it stands up. All that is now behind us, lets move on.

On a personal note about your comment about your ‘patriotic honour’ - I was a young guest in your country, the year you were born, if your age is correct in your information.

While staying overnight in a small town near the Black Forrest - I think it was near the University in Heidlberg? .. I walked into a small local bar and ordered a drink in my high school level German. My drink came and when I took out my DM to pay, the bartender pointed to a group of 3 older men, who nodded politely and waved, politely smiling.

The 3 older gentlemen bought my drink(s). I was a young airman. Because of some kindness shown to them by American soldiers many years ago, they wanted to buy my drink(s). And they did, quite a few. I spent the evening listening and speaking in broken German and English, their stories.

That kindness and sincere human gesture making me welcome in your country has always stuck with me - that is the most firm impression of your country made on me.

And as far a cliches go, yes I have one of your countries imports sitting in my garage..

I wonder if you noticed that Mobocaster actually thanked GorchFork for that comment. 🙂 Gorchfork isn’t new to this forum either.

Celtic, this board used to be much better at telling the “weather”. Of course during that time frame there was a lot more traffic. I haven’t been on here in years. I’m kind of shocked by the lack of reporting. More reporting often leads to more questions, more testing, and more reporting. This increases collective knowledge.

Josie, I agree, but there is a wealth of info going back years. The lack of testing/reporting makes it harder to figure out the new mixes and P’s, but if you want to find out what [P83](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/p83/) does for instance, its in there.

There are so many things to test, I leaned on the board to glean info on certain molecules so Im not wasting money on stuff that gives me effects Im not looking for.(Sexuals vs socials; respect vs enhancers, etc) Kind of like testing things I might actually use later. Harder to do that now with less people reporting. But I guess that is the theory on these anyway…we dont know what they do until us Guinea pigs give them a whirl and report.

But that being said…

As I mentioned in my last post, if you need more info, or more “scientific” info, there are other sources of info out there like other phero boards, scientific journals, news articles, etc. I read them all. I only journal here because well, I have a life, and I only have time to write up stuff in one place.

I think people come and go on these boards all the time. People get busy. People leave. People die. People just move on to the next chapter of their lives. Ebb and flow.

Sorry Im rambling..you get it.

Thank you for the reply. I’m actually a year older than what the info sais, and going 32 very soon. I don’t challenge what Mobocasters posts in any way, and he has indeed been very helpful to a lot of noobies, including me a few years ago - and lots of the threads that carry valuable information have him participating.

Glad to hear that you have nice memories of your stay in ole Germany. Heidelberg is not quite Black Forest, but close enough - and for american standards the distances are neglectable I guess. Unbekownst to many visitors from overseas, there are in fact substantial differences in general character, accents and tradition in many german regions - inherited from our history as a nation long divded into small principalities.

I’m from the coast, a “Nordlicht” as we call it, and differ from my souther brethren - not muc in terms of lederhosen and kraut going on here 😉 - and have clients from denmark, the netherlands and poland.
I’ve also been a serviceman for nearly a 2 years, serving in the navy, hence my name, which is the same as of the german nautical training vessel. I enjoyed my term on it thouroughly.

That was that about me and my little take on my poor dear fatherland.
Looking forward to your posts and your experiences with mones.
Enjoy your beer 🙂,
Cheers!

Precise sum up by Celtic Prince, btw.!

Harder to do that now with less people reporting. But I guess that is the theory on these anyway…we dont know what they do until us Guinea pigs give them a whirl and report.

I only journal here because well, I have a life, and I only have time to write up stuff in one place.

I get what you are saying. After not using mones for 3 or 4 years I decided to hit Androtics up for A314 after a job change into sales. I had used it in business before but never in sales. I wasn’t happy that it was out of stock so I hopped on the forum to see what the updates were. I was even more dismayed to see the low volume in the forum. ☹

So after reading for a while I’ve decided to test again. It’s the users of this forum that drive business and research, mostly business, for Androtics. So I have decided to start testing and reporting again. Not sure how much that will help, but I’m hoping it will add something.
