I’ve been thinking about the effects of constant pheromone use and self-consciousness and I have came to this conclusion:

Excessive use of [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/), using different mixes, and then observing and caring about the “hits” you’re getting puts you into a negative frame of mind.

That frame of mind is generally, “I care about other people’s reactions” and “I want people to react positively to me so that I feel good about myself.”

I really think pheromones offer some benefits.

But to what extent?

If you’re constantly focusing on how people are reacting, you’re automatically placing yourself in a submissive, reaction seeking role.

When you’re out, talking with women, your focus should be on your delusional identity of glorified awesomeness.

When you just say, “FUCK what other people think” that’s when pheromones work even better.

I’m just saying that the less thought you put into how other people react, the better.

I think you have a good point, what I try to do is forget about what I have on and then at the end of the day look back and analyze any unusual behavior, this isnt always possible but I try to put mones out of my head, you might miss some IOI’s this way but the really subtle ones are not as important imo.

I had the similar concept on my mind before. But in the beginning of using these I will have to observe at first just so I know what does and does not work, after I know what to expect is when I can stop observing and let it all fold.

I find that to be EXTREMELY TRUE!
Here is the catch though:
You say “fuck it” and you miss on a lot of IOIs.. OR
You care and you notice a lot of IOIs which could put your mind into a negative submissive role, but you could react to some of these IOIs.

I am going to argue the otherside.

I bet that alot of people that discover pheromones are self-conscious to begin with. Once they start seeing results from the mones and start to get treated differently, they being to act differently. They become used to being treated a certain way, and therefore become less self-conscious. They will begin to act and think the same way whether or not they are wearing mones simply because they have become conditioned to the results they have been getting.

Looking for hits is no different than becoming socially aware, and there is nothing wrong with that.

I understand the OP’s point of view, but I do agree with Maidenfan01. Even before I knew about pheromones, I’ve always consciously observed body language, facial expressions, my friends’ interactions - mostly because it interests me, and I count that as socially aware. Well yes, it probably does amplify once you start wearing mones and it becomes more of a priority, but it’s still the same as being socially aware. I don’t believe in being so sensitive to what everyone thinks of me, but looking out for behaviour or change of behaviour, is harmless in my opinion. 🙂

True, BUT not for me.

I feel good about myself 90% of the time, even when I’m dealing with my pains or other symptoms.

When I have on my mones … I ENJOY looking for the unexpected, and any and everything I consider OUT OF THE NORM. It has become FUN for me. 😃

Why be either self-conscious or focused on other ? Why not have a mix of the two, not black or white but one of the 256 greys in between, therefore using ALL the intelligence one has to be more objective. Some sort of win-win strategy, taking time to consider “hits” and not running in hurry into what might be a concrete wall…
Thinking both ways is, to me, the best way to consider bringing the best for both sides… wouldn’t you think so ?

I think the only time you need to consciously look for hits is in the beginning when your trying to get over the skepticism of whether they actually work or not and when your testing a new product or putative. Thats just another reason its better for experienced users to be testing. If your sitting around looking unnatural people may be responding to that and not the putative.

In your everyday activities you just “set it and forget it” I know you read tons of pick up tips and peoples advice on what to do and say and how you should act… bla bla bla. There is nothing wrong with tips when approached as a learning experience for self improvement.

Really think about it though. Do you wanna go through your whole life interacting with people that way always worrying about who is showing DHV, who’s the alpha and who should say what first or just be natural comfortable and you ? Really isn’t the ultimate goal under all this attraction and hoopla to just be happy and comfortable ?

Unless your testing stop keeping score. Find the mixes you like best and set them and forget them and just go out and have fun with it. The hits will come and they are more exciting when your not sitting there gawking at everyone waiting for them.

Pheromones are not increasing your self consciousness you are doing that by keeping score. If your observant because you enjoy it great but if its making you self conscious stop it.

Pheromones can be a tool for improvement but used incorrectly with the wrong mindset they can make you stumble even more. That’s up to you not your pheromones they will work either way.

But… the best part is NOTICING the effects working haha! This is why pheromones make life so much better, because it lets you have something to look forward to… EX. deer in the headlights or whatever from the girl that never noticed you, or an arrogant loud mouth friend that talks a lot of shit who gets intimidated when you stare at him w/o even having to speak…

while I do understand the OP’s point, and believe that there are a lot of people out there that might have their self-esteem issues exacerbated by constantly watching and yearning for positive reinforcement through IOI’s, I do believe that there are also a lot of people, like myself who have used that “self-conscious” thought process and looked inside and found a way to improve myself.

For me mones are a great tool for both attraction (sexual, non-sexual) and self-effects, even if after some time those self-effects are merely a placebo effect as they wear off.

I don’t constantly look for IOI’s, but I do have a running program going through my head that when something out of the ordinary strikes I pay attention.

But what I see happening now is I spend a lot of my time working on congruency, even when I know I’m not wearing mones or their effects have completely wore off.

I’ll find myself approximately 6+ hours after an application reminding myself on how I should be behaving mentally and physically. IF I find myself walking in a hurried pace, head down deep in thought, I’ll consciously remind myself to slow down, put my shoulders back, head up and start to make eye contact with those I’m passing.
I’ll even correct such small behaviors as nodding to others and exposing my neck, which can be a very beta thing to do…seems trivial, but congruency is congruency.

So with anything in life, you can focus on the positive aspects and outcomes of things, or the negative ones. I’m trying my damndest to focus on the positive and pull those out of me.
