Okay, so there is a common misconception that I can understand, which is that the wind can essentially “erode” pheros from your skin, it can take them away faster than they would normally diffuse away on their own. I believe Tisha made a post a bit back about needing hurricane strength winds for that, but seeing as I had never tried it and was going to an amusement park the rides of which I know the top speeds of, I thought I might be able to put a more solid number there. What I’ve found is 90mph-80mph average is not enough. I rode this ride multiple times (partly because its one of my favorites, partly because I wanted to be sure I spent enough time at such high speeds as to notice any lessening of effects or duration. There was no such thing. And because I don’t tolerate much none, all the none there was was 2 sprays of ammo, but I could still even see the effects of the shine afterwards. I must say, I was surprised to see the ice cream lady give several massive almost 10 second DIHL’s strung together… good thing she wasn’t holding ice cream the moment I walked up 🆒

I also saw plenty of other hits from girls in line: more looks, some staring, people complimenting my the worst aspects of my looks, thinking that my hair is amazing (its just about as bad as it gets-- its a giant, frizzy poofball, the only thing I do with it is keep it from being greasy, thats about it). Etc. Etc. In fact, these were some of the best hits I’ve gotten, especially the ice cream girl lol.

Anyways, the point is that high speeds and wind don’t erode the pheros away (even at 90mph apparently!!😮), all they do is make them diffuse in a way that makes it difficult to get good hits without positioning yourself all the time to do so. I have personal proof of this, now if you guys wanna stay scared of wasting product and save it for another day, you can’t blame anyone but yourself. And as for those of you who think it’d be sweet to have your car send those sexy (or friendly) vibes but are worried it’ll just blow off? DO IT! Wanna drive with the window down because you don’t wanna pull up all sweaty, hot and nasty, but don’t wanna kill your pheros? YOU WON’T, DO IT!

DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!

Of course roller coasters aren’t exactly the greatest simulator for winds or driving in a car, but I think this gives us some proof and that the findings are transferrable to those situations as I think the similarities are pertinent enough. If you don’t think so, that’s fine and I’d love to hear why (its always interesting), but I encourage you to also try it by driving in the car with the windows down somewhere AFTER applying your pheros then to find out for yourself what I already have.

Cheers and best regards

Flight

Great, that was a question I had meant to ask 🙂

What about Direct Sunlight? I live in Las Vegas, and as you all know, it can can into the 100’s EASILY every day of a week. I’m not here to debate Dry Heat vs. Humid Heat 😛 (Although I do think Dry Heat at 107 degrees is worse 🙂). But alot of the times, when I go out and do use Mones, the Sun is still up (Until like freakin 8 oclock), and it’s pretty direct sunlight, and like 10 (I personally think more) UV Scale (according to the news). Does prolonged periods of direct sunlight, say on my arm (where I frequently put mones) ‘erode’ mones away? Evaporate them? Damage them? (Sunlight here can peal the primer off your car in one work day, I promise).

TIA, didn’t want to open a new thread.

Sunlight (UV) can break down pheros into smaller normal molecules like water, making them ineffective as pheros, but they would diffuse off your skin faster than that would happen, at least in my experience. They would diffuse faster in heat also. The worry about UV damage is about leaving a bottle out in the sun for long times or multiple times, probably both are needed for a serious difference to be made. So don’t worry about a spray going bad, it’ll be Gond from your skin before that happens. However, I still wouldn’t recommend going to a tanning booth after applying pheros. Can’t say for sure how bad that is but honestly I’d just avoid the tanning booths altogether anyways.
