I like how you suggest it would be an allergic reaction to scents which are designed to smell nice rather than pheromones which are specifically designed to alter peoples brain chemicals, and as a result influence thinking, feelings, emotions and actions. Thank you for your advice to not use pheromones anymore, like I still would be given my situation. Your little meaningless get out clause doesnt excuse the fact you dont give specific warnings on products intended to change mood, nevermind unknown side effects through selling unresearched products. Your customers are human guinea pigs. If they experience positive results you value them yet when they experience negative results they must be mistaken, misguided, lying or mad.

Yo ultimate, i get it your life sucks now but there is MANY people here who have been using pheromones for 10+ years with nothing negative happening, wich means you are the exception. Sorry but thats just the way it is like others have said you arer part of the less than 1% of people very negativly afffected by pheromones. (Im sure it didnt help that you were exposed to insanely high amounts of IJ)
Oh also, the “alter brain chemicals” your saying i really doubt is true and EVEN if it was many things alter them including anti depressants and psychiatric medication, and big suprise, people get better taking them.

I Find it Utterly Strange that he States He’s USED Pheromones for Years with NO ISSUES… Yet One Little Spill and the World has Ended and his Health is at Risk… The Instant Line that You are Using has Been Tested Long Before it was Made Available to You, So the Customers aren’t Being Used as Guinea Pigs… Pheromones are Used External and thus the Effects WEAR OFF in Hours… They Don’t Change ANYTHING About Your Mind they Make Suggestions that Your Mind gets to Interpret… Yes, Your Own Thoughts can Override the Influence of Pheromones in Regards to Your Actions… They Work in the Same Manner as Hearing a Sound, Seeing a Color, Smelling a Scent ALL Create a Similar Change in Behavior…

Sweetie I never sold you a product in my life. I dont sell pheromones nor do I work for Androtics. I am also the first one to scream bloody murder on this forum when I think something is dangerous to sell whether it be meo est or AD selling to prepubescent individuals. Its obvious if you dont know who I am in the pheromone world you haven’t done your due diligence before messing with chemicals.

As I said its not that I dont believe something is occurring. However someone who has studied pheromones and used them as well as interacted with 1000’s of people who also use them for over a decade knows when something is just not right.

Yours is a unusual reaction. Its just my opinion there is more going on then meets the eye. This is in no way saying your wrong, crazy, mental or anything of the sort. Its not possible for you to be allergic to pheromones unless your also allergic to human beings which is why I didnt mention allergy to mones.

Scent is something you can be allergic to and you should look at it as a possibility.

It is also possible \>\>\>\> even probable your neurotransmitters could be out of balance. Many things can cause this including pheromones. This is why we talk about pheromone breaks and taking multivitamins all over this forum.

Did you use them daily ?

Did you over spray them ?

Did you take a multivitamin ?

Neurotransmitters dont **stay out of balance** unless there is a underlying problem in your Physiology. Once you no longer have the underlying problem or are not exposed to the environmental influence they should return to baseline. Pheromones never enter the blood stream due to the brain blood barrier. Your NT’d do though. As long as they are not being fired by that outside source your symptoms should subside. Since the absence of pheromones has not taken care of the symptoms its coming from another source.

Here is a link about depleting NT’s. It may help you figure this out. I am not suggesting you see this MD or buy his product. Its just the information on the site that may help you with your symptoms.

Oh and cook your food in [Braggs amino acids](http://www.bragg.com/products/la.html) It keeps yours neurotransmitters in top shape.

> I didnt day IJ ‘made me’ steal something, I said IO inhibited me thinking about consequences of actions, just enough for me do something out of charactor. That would be a negative side effect particular to me. It doesnt mean it’s not true, everyone is different. IJ is SUPPOSED to make you more aggressive and confident. In the confines of an enclosed space (a car) the pheromone inhalation would be applified. All I can say is I used to love IJ for it’s designed effects, but those designed effects made me a more dangerous driver. TAK is SUPPOSED to make you feel tired. It’s foolish to say driving with a substance on making you articially tired is anything but dangerous. The IH side effect of slowing down my thinking ability was rare, but a few people said they experienced a similar thing (after I said it) and a few more posters offered reasons as to why. The arguement that we naturally have pheromones so they are safe is flawed. We naturally have testosterone and growth hormone but when we are given unnatural amounts of these then bad things can happen, just as when we inhale highly unnatural amounts of artificial pheromones it may cause side effects. You cannot be playing with nature and expect only good things to happen.

Again, no one is denying your statements. The only thing people are denying is that the effects which are happening to you on the extreme levels does not happen to them. Who are you to say that your effects are occurring to the same degree on me?

Remember it’s your experience. IJ doesn’t make you do anything. You do something. Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.

If you stole, that’s a flaw of your character, not of IJ. If I never go to the gym and decide one day to go pump some iron, I’ll have more of the main ingredient of IJ in my bloodstream, but that doesn’t mean I’ll go out and steal some shit.

Get it together. Go get some help. I think you’re confusing what’s what here. Pheromones can have negative effects, people get headaches from over stimulation of the brain which seems to be what happened to you.

Hey Ultimate,

We’ve never discounted people reporting negative experiences. \*Keep in mind, there’s been no official company response to your thread before this one (the one I’m writing). Everything else has been other user’s talking from their own personal experiences. Although I work for Androtics, even part of my response will be opinion since I’m ultimately my own person.

As a company, we’ve been the first to acknowledge that pheromones are still a new frontier, since other companies have never taken these molecules seriously. Even though these molecules have been studied since at least the 1970s, the academic community hasn’t been much better, often equating “pheromone” with “aphrodisiac”.

Other companies have sold these things with no research whatsoever as god’s second coming on earth, while we’ve been more skeptical and scientific about the whole thing. **We like to hear EVERYTHING, good or bad, and actually appreciate your feedback!**

That’s why we have a forum like this. Every single customer we have has to join this forum first, because there are so many unknowns on this frontier. This company was started to explore the reality of pheromones. Unlike other sellers, we feel comfortable only when people can read the forum, and heed warnings and advice from other users. Many things we wouldn’t be able to anticipate ourselves. **Finding out the true nature of these natural molecules is like discovering anything about nature or the human body, neither of which we as society really understand yet. There’s still many mysteries left. Discovery of this kind is truly a group effort, and it’s actually feedback like yours which helps a whole lot.**

As everyone who’s been here for a long time knows, the original product designer never liked classical androstenone based [pheromone formulas](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/), of which Instant Jerk is one. We’re the only company that focused mostly on the gentler, social side of pheromones. The only reason we carry such things at all is due to consumer demand, and actually Jerk has tons of warnings if you read it’s sales page. **Every bottle says “If effects are not desired, discontinue use and return to vendor for exchange or refund”. The whole thing is really a warning right down the name of the product.**

I did a little homework. While it contains the same or even less \*androstenone than competing products like The Edge (2.4mg), Perfect 10 (5mg), Alpha 7 (6mg), or PherX (6 to 18mg), the designer felt it was best to observe these molecules and accurately name what they _actually did_ instead of pretending everything was yet another aphrodisiac. He felt that truth in advertising was best for both safety purposes and R&D, feeling that you can’t build anything useful on hot air.

A little bit before my time, Androtics even outright banned a much more insidious molecule, androstadienone (aka A1). This earns us endless ridicule to this day from the pheromone community, we even get some hate mail over it. We did it to protect others, as we saw one too many on men becoming depressed from wearing it. We even heard of some women using it to control men in an unethical way. As the founder said, we didn’t start Androtics to make people depressed or hurt 'em. We solely wanted to improve people’s lives, our greatest hope being to make people less lonely and bored.

Androstenone is a fairly normal, if strong thing. Being from NJ I know the smell well. A few sprays makes you smell like an Italian stud, a whole bottle like a locker room. A user can choose to use this responsibly just like you can with alcohol or kitchen shears. You have to use -none at the right times and right places, with the right people. There’s a lot of help here on on the forum on how to do just that.

With androstadienone there was no way to do that, since the negative side effect was too abnormal, and too extreme. No one expects a cloud of depressive doom to roll by. So we pulled it. Yet some other companies truly don’t care. Dial Soap now gives you a heaping supply of this sometimes dangerous molecule in their Pheromone Body Wash

I’m sorry to hear about your spill, and any negatives you may perceive as occurring from it. **But I’m sure I speak for the whole company when I say I do care, and I’ll do my best to help you and make this right.**

**You can return anything you like, even beyond the expiration date.** I’ll also send you a pheromone destroying ozonator to help any traces left over from your spill. You just run it for a day or two, then let things air out (you shouldn’t breathe ozone). **When nothing else seems to help with pheromone odors, ozonation seems to hit the spot. It’ll help “reset” your room.**

Any fabrics you feel have been touched by pheromones, just run in a warm or hot wash cycle with some Oxi-Clean and that’ll take care of it. Dry cleaning works, too. Bleach works wonders, but of course, you can only use that on whites.

If any of those negatives are from the molecules, you should feel better after taking these steps. Hopefully as soon as this week, you’ll have some relief if pheromones are involved at all.

I hope I’m able to help!

With true sincerity,
John Sebastian

BTW, not to disclaim about possible connection to pheromones, but from the sounds of it, maybe your own body is becoming more toxic with time. That happens to all of us as we age, especially on the low fiber American diet. I’ve had short episodes to what you’ve experienced pre-pheromone, some of it involving diet choices. The more I talk to people, the more I think most of us have.

I’ve heard similar things from people who have become chemically sensitive who never knew the word pheromone. Look up “multiple chemical sensitivities”. Pheromones and the fragrance carriers are all chemicals, too. When people become overloaded with chemicals, any chemicals your body doesn’t expect, life begins to suck.

Two things seem to help with chemical overload. Body cleansing and carbon filtration for the water and air.

If ozonating and taking some of the suggestions other users have left here don’t work, you may want to try a 10 or longer day cleanse of some sort like this one. Something like this one:[Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead](http://www.fatsickandnearlydead.com/). My folks have never used a pheromone in their life, and a cleanse something like that one really helped them a lot.

Rolandcubed, let me repeat it was IO not IJ which I felt inhibited my thoughts of consequences. I do not say it eliminated my free will, it just made me more inclined to do something I would never do.

Someone said pheromones dont alter chemicals in your brain. Anything that alters your feelings or those of others in a artificial way (which is the intention of pheromones) must produce or reduce chemicals or chemical reactions within the brain.

Someone said I ‘suddenly’ had a side effect after years of use. No, I had many minor side effects such as day long headaches due to over-use (ammo, IJ, IH), aggressive behaviour(IJ), less thinking ability (IH), bad mood(A314) as previously listed. I only realised a314 put me in a bad mood after 2 years of use on most days. I enjoyed the initial feeling and thought I was just a moody person, then I realised I didnt go into a mood when not wearing a314. The side effects of pheromones gradually increased to outweighing their benefits over the years.

Let me reiterate, it is not a spill that is causing me problems now, so please stop giving me advice on how to clean a carpet. The spill overloaded a certain sensor in my brain which has triggered a sensitivity to various contaminents in the air, and caused alcohol, relaxing supplements, and sleeping pills to give me a bad headache instead of their desired effect.

I was perfectly normal before the IJ incident. I had no reason to be depressed. I am still actually not as depressed as I should be, I’m just frustrated with my situation.

I’ve just read up on multiple chemical sensitivy and think I have some type of version of this which was DEFINATELY triggered by pheromones. Reading it reminded me that I get a strange sensation from walking past petrol pumps, so it seems to fit. Hmmm… now how onto a solution!

It took you two years to realize that A314 put yuo in a bad mood, but somehow you have determined almost overnight that pheromones altered your brain. Nothing anybody tells you is going to be of any help. The only thing you want to hear is the drone of your own voice. Your mind is made up, pheromones caused all your problems.

Two problems:

You’re doing a self-medical analysis.

And secondly, you’ve been around other peoples pheromones (and your own) all your life…

The bad mood change was subtle and the effect was gradual the longer I was wearing it in a day. I just presumed I was getting grumpier as I got tired. Also, the bad mood effect became more pronounced the more minths I was using it, starting out with hardly being noticable. You’re having a go at me for not instantly blaming a pheromone for a not so obvious slight negative effect, AND having a go at me for instantly blaming a pheromone for an obvious major side effect. I cant win with your logic.

The reason I’m having to do self-medical analysis is due to doctors (GPs) not knowing anything about pheromones or multiple chemical sensitivity. I have no chance of them correlating two things they have never heard of with my bizaare conditions, so have no option but to research for myself.

I’ve already stated the flaw of comparing natural pheromones with comparitively large amounts of artificial ones purposely designed to influence how the brain works. It’s like saying taking vast amounts of artificial growth hormone cant cause side effects because we already have it in our bodies. You must be dumb if you cant see a difference between nature and playing with nature in a science lab

How do laboratory made substances designed to influence behaviour through being inhaled get classed as ‘pheromones’ anyway? It seems were are passing off a new genre of recreational drugs under the term ‘pheromones’. Artificial hormones, and anything else that artificially changes mood are classed as drugs, yet you are all obsessed with [artificial pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) being ‘natural’ and ‘harmless’.

Because they’re cleaned up, synthetic versions of the same chemical pheromone signals that _practically every mammal on this planet (including the good ole ‘great apes’ of which we are a part) has used since the beginning of mammalian existance_ to signal certain triggers regarding mating, pack affiliation, pack order, etc amongst other things.

When they’re INSIDE of your body, they’re HORmones. When they’re outside of it and released for trigger purposes amongst other animals, they’re PHEROmones.

I’ve read a trolling thread on here similar to this, likely made by one of the people either from the Incel Camp or their counterparts in the _even worse_ TFL Movement.

Not saying that this thread in particular is a trolling thread, but I’ve minced words with the TFL Camp before, and I wouldn’t put it past them to hop on a self-improvement site such as ours just to raise hell with their self-defeating attitudes.

I’m just sayin’.

> Someone said pheromones dont alter chemicals in your brain. Anything that alters your feelings or those of others in a artificial way (which is the intention of pheromones) must produce or reduce chemicals or chemical reactions within the brain.

Untrue. There are so many substances in our environment that trigger feelings. The notion that its artificial because there is a outside influence that has been created is a total misconception. Its quite natural and how feelings that already exist in every human are activated. Its like saying learning to communicate in another language is unnatural.

> I’ve already stated the flaw of comparing natural pheromones with comparitively large amounts of artificial ones purposely designed to influence how the brain works. It’s like saying **taking vast amounts of artificial growth hormone** cant cause side effects because we already have it in our bodies. You must be dumb if you cant see a difference between nature and playing with nature in a science lab

This is where we are losing you. You are comparing them to drugs that do alter because they enter the blood stream. Pheromones man made or not are naturally occuring chemicals. They are not toxic chemicals.

Pheromones do not alter or change. This is scientifically known. They simply fire neurotransmitters which is naturally occurring in all humans. Many substances presented to the senses do this, not just pheromones.

The smell of warm apple pie can fire memories of home giving a feeling of warmth and comfort.

Watching a sad movie fire the NT’s

The touch of a loved one can fire NT’s

The sound of a beautiful voice can fire the NT’s

Its why babies get worked up in loud overly busy places or with over stimulation. Its not permanent.

Over stimulation of the senses in any way can deplete the NT’s including pheromones. Stress can cause over firing and deplete them causing many of the same symptoms you describe. However once taken away from that stress or stimulation repletion occurs unless there is something wrong in the persons physiology already that caused this or they have poor diets lacking in amino acids which are what your NT’s are made of.

Pheromones can trigger a depletion but not sustain it unless you are still being exposed to them in higher dosages like you wore when using them. You have already indicated you no longer use them.

Its like blaming a movie for your depression or the busy subway for your stress days after you experienced it. Your NT’s stopped firing within hours of those stimulation’s stopping.

Drugs that alter the brain are inhaled into the lungs as with crack or pot. Injected or ingested. Seep into the blood stream through absorption in the nasal passage as with coke. Pheromones are molecularly to large to do that so they dont absorb they travel to the brain to the message centers.
Unless your sticking your face in wet pheromones and inhaling into your lungs they are not entering the body the same way as drugs. They do not cross the brain blood barrier therefore they only trigger the NT’s in the brain, they cant alter your physiology like drugs can. Which is why the FDA hasn’t banned them years ago. To do so would they would have to ban everything that triggers your NT’s and our world would stop.

> How do laboratory made substances designed to influence behaviour through being inhaled get classed as ‘pheromones’ anyway?

They are classified by there ability to fire the NT’s without changing a persons physiology. In other words they dont change the person they just influence behavior and signal messages. They work outside the body. They are a form of communication all mammals use and have used since birth. Granted with synthetic mones the message is louder and more direct, we also have more control of the message being sent but it doesn’t change you or alter your brain. Sure you may get a headache if someone yells every time they talk to you from over stimulation but it shouldn’t send you into a depression or present itself with the symptoms you described after that stimulation is gone.

Your making lots of assumptions as to what mones can and cant do and in doing so your causing an over stimulation of fear in yourself that is contributing to the depletion of your NT’s. So in a round about way yes mones are effecting you adversely. Your prolonged use of them probably depleted your NT’s a bit which we have talked about before and is easily remedied but your misconceptions on how they work and what they do is what is keeping you depleted. Its not whats providing you with the over stimulation any more. You are doing that.

It is hard to grasp my situation but if you read up on multiple chemical sensitivity then it makes things a lot easier to believe. My situation is very similar to what I’ve read about it. I’m also suffering short term memory loss, decreased co-ordination and thinking ability which are known symtoms of MCS. I’ve just opened a letter and the chemicals of freshly made paper have given me a terrible headache and nervous feeling. I dont know what to do. I’d hoped for a recovery, but all I’ve read says it stays with you forever and it’s all about avoidence of allergy chemicals. Pretty hard to do when I’m getting bad reactions to so many things
