i don’t know about anyone else on here, but to me the true test would be consistency of results. i’ve tried a lot of things where i got great results the first day because i was excited and in a good mood, but if these pheros work on a consistant day to day basis independent of my mood or excitement level..then i will really know that’s it’s the molecules and not me.

First off … I have NO IDEA what PM products are. I can only reference Androtics stuffs + having experienced the results, I really don’t care to try any others - well maybe some NPA.

I have to go with Gegogi’s take on the definition of ‘placebo effect’ - it’s dead on from the point of view that a placebo affects the user primarily due to suggestion or supposition IMO. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing when talking about pheromones but we tend to call it something different round here. For the most part, we know it as ‘self-effect’ - which is really part & parcel with congruency. **IF** a product induces a particular ‘feeling’ when the user tries it out it’s usually a good idea to step into that motion to walk it - project it or become it IOW.

Not sure how experienced you are with these or any other products, but those initial tests should be done ‘Home Alone’ before trotting them out for public consumption AND care should be given to NOT becoming a legend in your own mind. So ‘placebo’ strictly from that point of view - OK, give you that one partially.

HOWEVER, when you take it to the street and see reactions from those around you that are in sync with what the wearer is feeling - then the term placebo kinda sorta doesn’t apply anymore.

If you are worried or just wondering that maybe you’re fooling yourself with pheromones - just rewind the tape a little & look back . . . . did you get the date with that one person you were targeting ? Did you get laid with someone you consider HOT ? Were you approached by a complete stranger in a market, on the train, when taking a walk who was just attracted to you enough to want to discuss things with you ?

IF so - did YOU make it so or was it solely the pheromones. Likely it was a package deal - a lil mishmash of you and them. Personally, I’ve seen WAYYY too much that suggests GOOD pheromones work. Will they work alone without someONE taking them along for the ride so to speak ? To an extent … BUT if that person approaches you and all they encounter is a rock and they aren’t particularly attracted to rocks then no go.

I can promise you this - the soon to be famous Panty Scorcher ain’t gonna scorch any panties all by itself … gotta give it somethin to work with.

Get it ?

> I think I have, but it is interesting to see how important you think the placebo effect is in the results brought by phero products.
>
> In my point of view, PM work because of a strong placebo effect and because of real effects in human behaviour caused by the product itself (independent of placebo). How important is each of those pathes…? That I don’t know…
