I’ve been reading on his forum that [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) seem to stay wherever you spray them, even if you try to wash it off with soap and water. Just wondering what you guys and gals use to wash it off. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Nioxin shampoo for your hair (plus you won’t go bald! hehe). I have a paul mitchell system

paul mitchell
Botanical prep shampoo
botanical hydrating shampoo
botanical body-building rinse

It pulls impurities out of your hair (chlorine, dht, pheromones, ect.)

As for your skin. Who knows… If your worried about build up just scrub that area thoroughly and skip a day or more of phero aplication.

I actually use one of those scrubby things tied to the stick. They sell them at Wally World (Wal Mart). It’s a good idea to use something corse that helps remove any dead skin cells. Try to soap and rinse twice and use some elbow grease. Please don’t rip your skin off though, that might hurt.

I’m not sure how long the pheromones stay with you, but I believe they may stay for at least a day or two. Especially with the results I have been getting.

I’m wondering if also something like baby powder or lotion would affect the application point. I always use powder, but I’m sure some people use lotion. I assume with powder it wouldn’t be as much of a problem as with lotion, unless of course it prevents your skin from absorbing it.

Would anybody know?

id be really surprised if soap and water didnt at least reduce the chemicals a significant amount. the only thing water alone doesnt dissolve are non-polar molecules and thats what soap is for. if it really leeches into your skin exfoliating might help too.

Facial cleanser might be the best idea for application points as it is designed to exfoliate and clean.

15 minutes in the sauna does the trick for me…followed by hot shower, and a hard scrub down with a bath sponge.

Perfect! I’d rather have a steam or sauna anyway, heh!

MHarris once commented that Nioxin or other “polysorbate based hair cleaners” (also “other polyscorbate based hair conditioners”) will work to remove sticky pheros.

But he also cautions about disturbing your natural bacterial culture on your skin with too much soap, and advocates rinsing, except for spot cleaning with Nioxin/etc.
