So, let’s say one wanted to be olfactorily invisible. How would he go about doing this? The goal would be to blend in somewhere completely, masking even his own natural [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/). The closest solution I could discover is scent control products for hunting.

Continuing this line of thought, would an absence of all scent be noticeable during social occasions, specifically in interactions with the opposite sex? Do people consciously or unconsciously _expect_ some kind of olfactory sensation within each others’ proximities? Essentially, would an absence of scent draw attention to someone, counter to expectation?

Whacky question, I know, but I would like to hear some theories. Thanks.

On a more practical note, if one wanted to remove any sprays on him, short of taking a shower, what would be the most prudent course? I am assuming some sort of alcohol based solvent.

Not really practical IMO - for starters, pheros develop their own scent that varies across the appliction lifespan as the original pheros convert to other pheros and a range of breakdown byproducts.

Also scent is pretty essential for diffusing the pheros and without it IME, your pheros and natural output would stay close to you and be much less effective overall. Although there has been some interesting recent progress with the likes of AD’s “Stealth diffusion” mixes and other companies using gel-base mediums that manage to provide excellent diffusion, exceptionally low scent and good breakdown management/longevity on the skin itself. However none of these are actually no-scent.

For suppressing your natural production - Again, this seems only possible by using phero-destroying products that linger on the skin. For hunting IIRC most of the commercial preps depend on stuff like sodium bicarbonate or active oxygen chemicals that wipe-out your natural and any added pheros more or less on contact. So phero-wise, entirely unproductive.

Lastly, scent is an important part of the overall package you are presenting to the world. Esp in an attraction or professional scenario. Just how much will depend on situation of course and influence your choice of scents.
