> I’ll tell ya what I think. My best guess is she’s a wacko, i.e., mentally unstable. “Back off” and give her some space. Yeah, right! She’s already going out of her way to distance herself from you (as far as possible) and when you confront her about her anti-social behavior, she tells you that she all of a sudden gets bad vibes from you and wants you to “back off”? How much more space does she want? What a c\*unt! (sorry, ladies).

I think you are underestimating the effect of the pheromones in this whole scenario … a yoga teacher, whatever her other personal attributes, is probably going to be more sensitive to energy and people’s vibes than most people, and pheromones are part of that picture. To quote Tisha:

"It doesn’t matter that you wore [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) that day, The impression was already made with [Turn Up The Heat](https://a314.com/product/turn-up-the-heat-tuth/) and [Instant Jerk](https://a314.com/product/instant-jerk/). Yoga is defiantly not the place for these two products. I would have chosen something like [TAF](https://pheromonelabs.com/), [P79](https://pheromonelabs.com/), [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/), [P74](https://a314.com/product/p74/), [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) for yoga not sexual or distracting pheromones.

Tisha"

Now picture this: TUTH is the phero equivalent of having a visible erection in your yoga pants. [Instant Jerk](https://a314.com/product/instant-jerk/) is the phero equivalent of dropping your pants and flashing the class. You would only have to do this once to make a lasting impression.

Yoga class is usually a warm, enclosed space where all kinds of scents as well as people’s energies are magnified. The teacher has to maintain control of the class and guide the energy … these phero experiments seem to have been disruptive for her, and interfered with her work.

I’ll say it again … we have a responsibility to the people we experiment on, particularly if we are in some kind of ongoing relationship with them. If you play with fire, don’t be surprised when your eyebrows get singed!

I totally agree with the above post. First impressions are very important and hey thats why we all are in this forum to make a good first impression that basically what i think phero’s do aid in this situation. But in yoga it is very important because im sure the yoga teacher found out the energy point somehow.

> On the other hand he is being treated and slandered like he is some kind of creep when he did nothing wrong. I’m not a confrontational sort but it kinda sucks having this woman slag you when you did nothing wrong. I would probably take my business elsewhere if at all possible.

Slander (noun) - words falsely spoken that damage the reputation of another.

Slander (verb) - charge falsely or with malicious intent; attack the good name and reputation of someone.

Original poster’s (OP’s) quoted statement of Yoga instructor - “You’re [sic] energy has been all over the place lately and I just can’t take it. So back off and give me space.”

I don’t see any slanderous action here. What I do see, however, is a confused Yoga instructor that feels weird but can’t seem to place her finger on what’s causing her feelings of anxiety. She can ballpark the fact that the anxiety is being projected from an individual, but she can’t figure out why it’s there - probably considering the fact that she’s spend time with the OP before and never had those feelings.

In an effort to put some space between her and the OP, she asked him to “give me space”. That means that she’s not interested in talking about it right now, and quite possibly, discontinue coming to class. Instead of giving that space, the OP went on the attack. Regardless of vindication of feelings or however gentle, an attack on someone who’s already anxious will make them go on the defensive. Period.

If I were in the OP’s shoes, I would’ve apologized immediately for “whatever I’ve done to make you feel uneasy”, and would’ve asked/suggested that I switch classes - all while trying to ease her feelings that I’m taking such action to put her at ease; not as a protest or retaliation. That simple act would’ve allowed her to choose what she felt most comfortable doing: letting the OP go to a different class, or allowing him to stay while she figures out how to deal with the energy.

Guys, you have to think! Think before you open your traps because you only get one shot, and once the words are off the tongue, you can’t take them back.

ok well we have learned a lesson for the future. Do not use jerk or turn up the heat at a yoga class! Im sure that anyone else will have to take a close look at this if they expect to put on some pheromones before yoga. Lesson learned now time to forget and see what the future brings in terms of pheromone effects on others.

Hello KSage, I was wondering if the pheromones made her feel sexual towards you and just freaked her out.

I have taught aerobics and Pilates in the past and could always tell when a student was sending me a sexual vibe. Usually I would ignore it, but if it got too intense I would let him/her know, through body language or by the tone of my voice, that I was not available or interested. Also if I deemed a student was acting inappropriately in class I would let them know always nicely with courtesy, tact and respect.

I do not believe she handled this situation tactfully or professionally. I believe she should have been the one to initiate a direct but tactful professional conversation with you to address any problems she was sensing. Sometimes students are going through intense things in their life and this makes them act out of sorts. Going by what you stated she seems a little emotionally unbalanced and your pheromone signature threw her over the edge.

I have never thrown a student out of any class unless of course they were blatantly disrespectful. Students are your bread and butter (even if you only teach part time). Any student that would stick around for more than 6 months was gold to me and I would always treat them special. You stayed 3 years that is proof enough that you are a dedicated, loyal student.
Although I do not agree with your incorrect usage of pheromones in class, I disagree even more with her unprofessional treatment of you.

I have studied yoga (kundalini, hatha, bikram, Iyengar) on and off for the past 25 years. My take on most (not all) yoga teachers is that sometimes their feet are not firmingly planted on the ground. I have found with some that they exhibit a la-la land mentality, behavior or attitude that makes me feel the lights are on but no one is home. With these individuals they avoid confrontation at all cost. Unfortunately avoidance is not the best method of dealing with problems.

This situation definitely provided a learning experience for you and I hope for her as well. Teachers need to be in charge of themselves and their class. Strong, confident teachers don’t ask a student for space they create it. No student can invade your space unless you allow them. KSage you were not the problem she has the problem and needs to address her own issues. Your pheromone signature was the catalyst that made her issues surface. Perhaps it her time to deal with her personal caca.

Don’t feel bad. Reps to you for sharing something that was embarrasing but yet you had the guts to write about!! All the best!!! … Siren

Maybe I’m assuming too much but when the teacher went to the manager and complained it must have been more than " his energy is all over the place" to get him a lifetime ban. Now I don’t know what happened for sure but if I take Ksage at his word she likely lied or at the very least greatly exagerated. Now likey all the employees there view him as some kind of creep and his reputation is damaged. Hence the slander comment.
I understand where you are coming from and generally agree, care should be taken when dealing with others if you want a smooth relationship and the onus is on you to make things smooth. However, from what I understand of the story she acted unprofessionally and somewhat childishly. I think Siren’s post shows a better way to have handled the situation.

Chads,

I retract my argument against slander based on your clarification of statement, because while we don’t know what was said between the teacher and manager, there is the possibility that something damaging was said in that exchange. You’d hope that the incident could remain hidden from the other instructors (that would be the most professional case), but we simply don’t know.

Speaking of professionalism, I cannot argue with the point made by Siren. As a businessman who depends on clients in order to bring in money, I’d certainly would handle things differently if I had an uneasy feeling about a client.

But alas, as my brother would say, there are three sides to every story: hers, his, and the truth (why are policemen always so cynical?).

Thanks, Chads, for clarifying your position.

Obviously some of you are under estimating pheromones. We often tell people to wear them in the correct environment for this very reason.

Yes we tell you here that most reactions are subtle and Its 90% you and 10% the pheromones and in most cases thats correct but pheromones do cause strong feelings that influence people to react. Some people deal with emotion and impulses and handle it well. You may not even notice your effecting them but then there are those who cant handle it. Since your the one wearing pheromones and are aware of the message your sending you need to wear them responsibly.

I am not trying to pick on Ksage, I appreciate his sharing his story and think its a important report and example that can be very helpful to others. I also have been in some ways where he is now. You wear copulins in the wrong environment and you can get some very strong pushy hits from people who cant control themselves. Its like hanging a carrot in front of a rabbit. Can you really be mad at the rabbit for reacting ? He mentioned that for 2 months he tried and saw the discomfort it was causing. She gave clear signals of that discomfort. At that point he should have stopped. Plus he confronted her on it which made the whole thing more uncomfortable.

> [@](#):
>
> I was wondering if the pheromones made her feel sexual toward you and just freaked her out.

I dont think that was it at all. I have alot of experience with Turn Up The Heat. A few of my friends order from here and wear it. I use it as well.

Turn Up The Heat and high Androstenone products are arousing but I will explain the environment differences.

In a club, at a party, on a date, with your SO, Sexual tension is expected and actively being looked for . People will react well in these situations. They get a sexual vibe and look for the source of the vibe and become aroused. To put it most primitively, they are looking to mate.

In other environments like the bus, classes, work, ect where the mind set is not sexual in anyway the vibe they get now is the sexual predator vibe. Women will understand this more then men because I dont think it happens to men. But women have to be more cautious and when that creepy perverted weirdo vibe hits them we avoid the person. His teacher avoided and he confronts her. She reacted as any women getting these strong signals would react.

Now dont get me wrong I am not saying that Ksage is a perverted weirdo. **I know he is not.** I know he uses pheromones and I know why those signals are occurring. His teacher didnt know.

Could she have handled it better, Sure maybe the manager should have asked him to attend a different class but that manager has the obligation to protect his employees as he/she see’s fit even if in actuality there was nothing to protect them from.

**Ksage…**

Dont feel bad, You learned a valuable lesson about pheromones and there power. They do work but we need to understand how and why they work . This just means your getting more experienced with pheromones. Most experienced users have a embarrassing story or two which we all learned from. My first experience with Turn Up The Heat is one example that I have posted or The guy who asked me if I would pick up some pink sugar lotion for him to give his wife. This is the lotion I often wear with copulins added. I did and she loved it. Then he tells me he has her put it on before bed every night and thinks about me all night. We all get weird hits.

I will share one more stupid f-up I did that I never mentioned before. Just keep in mind the differences in how a women and a man react to pheromones. While the situation and the outcome is not the same the message being sent was…

I went shopping alone, at night to the mall in our area. Parked in the parking garage. I wore 10 drops of EOW, 4 sprays of IS/B 2 sprays of TAH. A standard mix, but looking back now it probably gave me a helpless vibe. I noticed a guy in the gap watching me, I get IOU’s alot so I didnt think much of it but I did get the sexual predator vibe. Then he was in Banana republic, watching me. Then he was in spencer gifts, watching me. I am getting creeped out. Went into macys and the next thing I know he is right up behind me telling me I smell amazing. I politely say thank you and avoid him by ignoring and moving away. 3 more times he stops me to say how lovely and alluring I smell. I tell him to take a hike or I will call a cop and start avoiding him some more. He follows me at a distance for a while trying to get my attention in different ways. Ok now I am scared to leave. Suddenly he disappears. Thank you Aphrodite.

I still had that creepy weirdo feeling so I call home and wake my husband up. He go’s to bed early because he gets up at 3 AM and I tell him I am afraid to leave the store. He is not used to me being afraid of anything so he gets my oldest son, asks me where I parked and I tell him and says wait for me inside the mall near the doors to that parking area. So I do but I am tired and its getting late and they are taking forever so I say to myself “Tisha your being stupid just go get in the car” and I walk out into the garage smack dab into weirdo. He is being pushy and grabbing my arm and sort of trying to lead me along and of course I am loudly protesting when my hubby and son come into view.

My son was on him before the car ever stopped, they kicked the crap out of him. My husband just looked at me with this terrible distressing look and said get in the car. My son drove my car home. I didnt dare tell my husband I had pheromones on. He would have had a cow and I am thankful he didnt ask cause I would have told him the truth. I felt guilty, I still do. 4 times he mentioned my scent. Sure he probably had predator problems before he ever encountered my pheromone signature but that signature broke any control he had left. It was like walking into a sex offenders convention naked. I am more careful where I wear copulins now. We all make mistake and learn from them. 😉

Yikes Tisha! That’s some freaky stuff! 😮

I don’t mean to compare your experience, but it further drives home the saying “trust your instincts”. I had a coach drill that lesson in me during my prep years and I’ve found it to be prudent advice on and off the field. I can’t imagine having the feelings you had though and trying to talk yourself out of the fear.

Good thing your husband and son arrived when they did. And while I try to remain civil, I probably would’ve responded just like your son and attack the guy without mercy…especially since all they were thinking on the way over is that this guy was after you. I dare not think of what would’ve (or could’ve) happened had they not shown up when they did.

I’ll have to agree 100% here. I often spout it’s 90% you and 10% pheromones and, yes, pheromones reactions are generally subtle or totally hidden by the target. Nevertheless on rare occasions I have experienced extreme reactions from ultra sensitive or borderline nymphos. And, yeah, they can’t handle the heavy sexual mix and go bananas. I had a few experiences even more extreme than Tisha and have since learned not to wear NPA, PheroProof or other androstenone heavy mixes to work (college classes). Crazy women will stalk you and enraged husbands wanna kick your ass. So wearing appropriate pheromones for a given situation is both wise and prudent. Being what human nature is, most of have to learn the hard way…

I just wanted to add that I dont mean to alarm anyone with my above experience. This happened quite a while back and I never shared it because I felt stupid for wearing them there in the first place and because I didnt want to freak new phero users out.

Things like that can happen to any female mones or not in the wrong situation but there is a time and place for sexual mones. Sure I still wear cops, I even wear them to work but I know I am safe there and that there is no zero tolerance problems in my workplace. We are all pretty close. But if I am going to be alone in a club or walking somewhere I either opt not to use them or make sure I have my crew with me.

So if you decide to use anone which is a heavy sexual mone and you choose to wear it in a inappropriate setting dont be surprised when female alarm responses start going off. When they do your best bet is to back off and let the situation diffuse itself.

This is why Micheal Harris says TUTH is best used when you want to turn up the heat with someone who has a feeling of comfort with you.

Tisha 😉

Thanks Tisha. I mean I have been wearing increasingly large doses of TUTH but in places where I have women as friends who can provide me with social proof. Were I the only man in a new situation where I didn’t know any of the women, or if I bumped into a woman in a dark alley, with the same signature - well I think I could let her know I was cool and not a threat, but of course I’d be aware I have to make a little more effort both verbally and non-verbally to defuse that heavy vibe.

Location is everything. I certainly wouldn’t wear lots of -none to a rough nightclub or pub. In fact, I wouldn’t go to a rough place anyway, -none or no -none, so…

Guys, thanks for the words of support and encouragement.

I thought that by wearing the pheromones I was being playful. You know, flirting a bit, maybe making someone a little uncomfortable with how aroused they were getting. I expected the reactions to be from the students on either side of me, not from the teacher who circulates around the room. It did not occur to me that it could turn into a creepy sexual predator vibe, especially from someone who had a long history.

And let me clarify that while her avoidance of me was over the space of 2 months, I wasn’t wearing pheromones that whole time. Probably only 5 or 6 classes of the 2 months. And given the long history before that, I didn’t think they would shake the instructor so.

Clearly, though, the instructor was loosing it on some other level and it has something to do with her husband being out of town on business for several months. When he’s back in town I’ll seek him out and apologize to him.

And there’s this thing that happens when you get angry: you stop listening. I was angry about her hiding from me, so when she told me to back off and give her space, I didn’t hear it in time to stop myself from complaining. I should have just shut up and left right then. In my head what was going on was that she was being ridiculous, lost in some fantasy of miscommunication, and this was something we could talk out, but of course for her there was nothing but pain to confront in talking it out and nothing bad to lose from kicking me out altogether. For her, not having me in her class was a relief. For me, it as a major disruption to my entire fitness plan. I needed to recognize that disparity of power and consequence.

I was wrong by not respecting the shared space. I still feel, though, that we ought to have been playing by rules where that merits a warning before escalating to expulsion. She felt she was just going to suppress it until it I forced the issue.

Meanwhile, in case you are wondering, what she told her superiors was that she just wasn’t comfortable having me in her class and the she couldn’t give me the kind of personal attention I was looking for. They simply passed it off as a personality conflict between two strong personalities and did everything they could to make me feel that they weren’t judging me and wanted me to remain happy, whether than meant a full refund so I could move to another gym or help planning a workout routine with the other teachers.

All of this is in marked contrast to my phero experiments in improv class, where pretty much everyone had a good time… You’ve got to know your target.

Dude it’s cool. I wouldn’t have understood what was going on either. Especially in my case, being a noob, I can’t even be sure if I’m getting a reaction to the phero’s at all. Only worn them 3 times now and only in one place where I had a “history” as you say. Innocent people get punished for crimes they didn’t commit all the time. I know it bugs the crap out of you, and you want to “fix” it, but the best thing to do is forget it and move on.

kSage,

Thank you for following up with the group; it’s much appreciated.

You hit the nail on the head with the anger/listening comment, and I’d be lying to say that I don’t have those same struggles. Coodles to you for identifying it and understanding what went wrong. It’s also nice to know your name didn’t get drug all through the mud with respect to the other teachers at the gym.

I think we all understand where you’re coming from with the comment regarding testing other students and not thinking about the teacher. This is something from which everyone here can benefit; you’ve provided a powerful lesson, so we thank you for sharing your story.

As for talking to the husband, I really don’t know what to do there. I would humbly advise to plan what you’re going to say and how you’d like to steer the conversation before you meet with him rather than trying to do something off the cuff. Are you planning on telling him about the mones? If so, how are you going to explain that without him getting agitated? Remember your lesson - people tend to not listen when they’re upset/angry, and if he gets the impression, however slight, that you were doing something that could potentially arouse his wife, while he was out of town, well…that could pose a problem.

Just know what you’re going to say, how you’re going to present the apology, what possible questions he may ask and how you’re going to counter. Don’t leave anything to chance on this one.
