In my head what was going on was that she was being ridiculous, lost in some fantasy of miscommunication… From what you are saying, I suspect – and I’m feeling kinda foolish this didn’t dawn on me before – that she was NOT reacting to your pheros… But that YOU, kSage, were reacting to your pheros and the self effects on your own attitude were what _she_ was primarily reacting to. Tater seems to think most pheromones work this way. I came late for a massage appointment. This was a massage therapist who works out of a yoga studio. I assumed she’d be happy to get an hour’s pay (plus the normal tip) for a half hour’s work. Traffic happens in the big city. It wasn’t her fault and I was happy to pay for the full hour, but this woman would never schedule me again! I’d been seeing her for years and I thought we got along fine.
