I’ve been testing ammo for a few days now and my results haven’t been spectacular. I’ve had some minor hits with 1 and 2 sprays, but I wanted to get some feedback on how the weather affects the pheros. I’m In NYC and its been chilly these past few days ( lower 40’s-50’s). So I’ve been forced to go out and test wearing a leather jacket. Its all been windy.

Now I’ve been doing most of my testing down in the subways where its warmer, and people are close to me, but I haven’t had many noticeable hits. I know cold weather keeps the pheros from diffusing, but is it possible to have near zero effects in these conditions. Do you think walking for 10-20 minutes in chilly, windy weather could severely hinder the pheros from working? I know that the jacket isn’t helping because my best hits with ammo i got when i braced the weather a bit and went out wearing a short sleeve polo shirt with 2 sprays of ammo on my arms.

It’s recommended that [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) be sprayed directly on the body for the simple fact that the body’s temperature helps diffuse the pheromones for better distribution. By that rule of thumb, yes, cold weather can affect the number of hits.

Honestly, however, I think the jacket is blocking them more than the cold weather, both together are a double whammy.

Depending on which pheromones you are using, I’d recommend sticking to the neck and hair during cold weather. We lose a lot of body heat from the top of our head, and the warmth gathered by the jacket will rise to the top and escape out the neck, helping distribution. A heavier dose will probably be necessary to get the same reaction as in warm weather.

I’m really glad I live in Texas. It was 85 degrees today.🙂

i live in North Dkota and so based on that logic I should not even use any products in winter? Or I guess better question would be what would be an effective way for me to use the product?

If you’re going to be out in the cold most of the day, I’d stick to applying it to the neck/head region. Lots of people spray hair, behind ears, jawline and neck. With your head exposed, that’s going to be the hottest dispersal area.

I wouldn’t quit using pheromones because of cold weather, just think the placement out a little better and possibly consider applying a slightly stronger dose.
