So, I’ve been very busy with classes and lots of homework recently, and haven’t had much time to report, even though I keep putting on a spray or two of something in the morning hoping I’ll be able to get on later, so I’ve wasted a bit of product and have decided to stop until I really have a chance to pay attention. However, I do have a small report for today, as I was noticing potential hits all over the place. Day 8: Around 5:50, I applied 1 spray of MX395 on my way from the library to quiz bowl. When I arrived, there were about eight people there, so I sat directly next to the petite brunette girl from my previous posts. Over the course of practice, she switched from having her legs crossed towards me to having them crossed away from me. However, she kept smiling and turning towards me any time she laughed at anything. I also noticed her mouthing things to her friend across the table, though that might not have been related. For a while, she was twirling her hair almost continuously. She seems like a nice girl, polite, calm and very straight-laced (at a club party this weekend, she didn’t drink and left after about 30 minutes), but I think I had her on edge. Eye contact has become more and more frequent the past few practices while I’ve been wearing UF mixes. Any opinions? By the way, I’d really like to hear people’s opinions on hits like this. Although I am very good at noticing things that might be hits, I don’t think I analyze them that well, and tend to think all-or-nothing. If I decide something is a hit, I think I assign a disproportionate number of things I notice afterwards as further hits. Otherwise, I just assume everything is a coincidence. Moving on: Self-effects. I didn’t notice the strong desire to answer questions as before. I still answered a lot, but I think it was much more a behind-the-scenes thing. As in, I would just decide to answer more than normal, rather than feeling compelled to. I also wasn’t irritated with this mix. I was able to concentrate on the questions and pull answers from memory very well. I’ve only tested it once so far, so I really can’t make a decision yet, but with this initial test, I got possibly really good hits along with the increased performance (academically, pervs) without the irritation/brazen confidence. After practice ended, I headed back to the library to do more homework. I was concentrating on working there, but I did notice that a girl in a study corral near me (typical college-looking girl, sweatshirt, tights, flip-flops, probably in a sorority, not really my type) kept glancing over at me and even stared a couple of times. At one point, I was looking for something in my bag and she just watched me the entire time. When I got up to leave (I was coming back, but I needed a few things from my room), she glanced over her shoulder at me. No smiles or anything, but then again, I don’t know if she noticed I noticed she was noticing me. I decided to grab a macchiato at the coffee shop near my dorm (it was about 9:30, maybe, so about 3.5 hours after application). I ordered my usual macchiato and a snack. Got the usual big smile and good evening from the blonde coffee shop girl (barista?) who always smiles when she sees me. The girl behind me was this pretty brunette girl who always smiles back at me when I pass (I usually smile at girls when I pass them.) Some girls just glance at you and walk past (bitches!) but she always gives a warm, friendly smile. When I noticed her behind me, she smiled, as usual. I attempted to pay for my order with my school ID, since it’s linked to my meal plan account. Apparently, I didn’t have enough on my card, and realized I didn’t have my debit card on me, so I asked blonde coffee shop girl if I could run to my room and get it. I was about to take off to my room, when the girl behind me said she would pay for my order. This took me completely off guard, and I asked if she was sure and said I felt a little bad. She said it was no problem. She asked how much it was (about $7, since I had added a tip.) She smiled and said it was no problem again and proceeded to pay for my order. I asked her name (Christina/Kristina/some other variant of this) and told her mine and shook hands. She said it was nice to meet me. I thanked her again. I would have liked to stay and talk to her, but I was in a hurry to finish my work. What do you think? Interest? Simple kindness? It definitely gives me an excuse to talk to her in the future, or even buy her coffee in return. Any advice if I decide to go that route? Anyway, that’s all for the night.
