Hey I know that when we start taking additional chemicals that are naturally produced within our own bodies over extended periods of time, our body begins to produce less and less of that chemical naturally.

Will this happen with [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/)?

There may be some feedback mechanisms that will decrease natural pheromone output, but I am doubtful.

Most of these molecules are breakdown products of hormones that are used in the body for other reasons. There are internal feedback loops that regulate our hormone levels based on what they are supposed to do. Pheromones are the “garbage” that is excreted after the hormone has broken down. It so happens that looking through the garbage conveys important information on hormonal state to other individuals.

I have my doubts that hormone levels and thus pheromone production is regulated by pheromones on our own skin to any great extent simply because our bodies have more direct feedback loops available.

That said, the pheromonal information received from others does effect our hormone levels, and thus presumably our pheromone output. The classic experiment is putting women together and observing how they pheromonally synchronise their menstrual cycles.

There is a potential that something sprayed on onself could be interpreted as a signal from another individual and affect an internal hormone level. However, the direction of effect could be either way. That could conceivably result in either increased or decreased natural pheromone output.

I don’t worry about it. In our society most people bathe regularly anyway, and few are aware consciously of pheromonal influences.

Interesting question!

No, because you aren’t “taking” anything or using them internally.

[Pheromone sprays](https://a314.com/product-category/spray-pheromones/) are applied topically to your skin.

Another thing people produce naturally is collagen. Does that mean rubbing a collagen-infused cream on your face will deplete natural collagen levels? No sir.

Yeah well, after reading through more posts on this forum, i really see no reason why i shouldn’t wear pheromones forever.

in all honesty, you guys are creating lifetime customers.

In my language, KaChing.

Since I seem to have your attention Jasmin, and you are not only a female who I assume has sniffed every pheromone known to man based on the fact you work for Androtics, maybe you could hook me up with a nice starter combo that makes you tingle.

I like to jump into things running, so I don’t really feel like just hittin a solo spray.

There are like 475 different products I’ve read about, and quite frankly I don’t feel like analyzing each and everyone because it seems a lot of them accomplish the same thing.

I was thinkin some A314 + Instant Shine + somethin else like Chemical Romance or [Instant Female Magic](https://a314.com/product/instant-female-magic/) or Ammo.

Some dude said girls said he smelled funky with Instant Female Magic so maybe I’m straight on that lol.

Does it dilute my sexiness if I throw some regular cologne on over it?

Yo, I almost forgot adding some Instant Jerk

I TONY MONTANA YOU COCK A ROACH

Thank YOU.

I guess I could see your body producing lower levels…since your skin absorbs the chemicals…to test to see if pheromones really work try wearing it on your clothes instead of on your skin…this will remove the idea of self-effects and see if there are any real differences in people’s reactions…as well it wont effect your body production levels since your skin isnt absorbing anything…

wearing it on your collar, shirt, sleeves etc

Skin absorption is only one of the possible feedback routes. We know that smelling these chemicals causes effects on people, so that is another possible route for self-effects.

I normally wear pheromones on my hair and clothing. Not much skin showing save my face and hands, and I hate spraying crap on my face, especially stuff with alcohol in it. I wash my hands too much for hand apps.

Besides, your natural pheromones are created all over your body, including ass, privates, pits, mouth and surface skin. Some, like those in feces, urine, sperm and saliva, come from within, while others are created when body fluids such as sweat are acted upon by bacteria. I seriously doubt external pheromone use would impact bacteria action or feces, sweat, urine or sperm production.

More scientifically, there is absolutely no evidence that negative feedback occurs through smelling or absorbing your own pheromones. It’s theoretically possible that smelling them could in some circumstances make you produce more, for that matter.

Still, no one is sure.

So the prudent thing to do is to take periodic breaks from pheromones, for any number of reasons, like you would with anything synthetic or concentrated that you apply to yourself.

I know that when I took a break over the winter, after many years of use, my natural pheromones were working like gangbusters, as I was avoiding soap. I got lots of hits without synthetic enhancement.

So I doubt there’s any permanent problem with long term use that taking a break wouldn’t fix.

I’m with DrSmellThis on this…

When I’m stopping for a day or two, as a break from pheros, I’m finding my natural levels to be somewhat higher than usual now.. It’s as if my -none output is a bit more than usual, or my behaviour is a bit more congruent with higher -none output anyway…

You think its possible you still have leftover pheromones on you. In another post you mentioned you don’t shower everyday.

ya, i was thinking the same thing, besides none has been known to be kinda difficult to get rid of after you’v sprayed it on ^^

I meant even after I have showered and used an air conditioner which seems to remove [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) residue… or even during a break of a few days from pheromone usage…
it’s the way you act - I’m referring to congruence - which has changed/improved for me..

Yeah I see what you’re saying. Either way I was just curious since I’m new to the pheromone thing but based on the forum they seem pretty amazing.

Hopefully a bottle of A314 is worth $70 cuz Im about to buy one.
