I got asked this while in the same car as her, I was in shotgun and she was in back, her mom was driving, I was wearing IS and IO. I didn’t know what to say, and said “[Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/)”. She didn’t say anything else about it after.

Is this a good cover-up or is Neroli just the name of the oils? Or is it the name of the scent? If not, what should I have said?

Just say any cologne that matches that type.

Citrusy colognes for [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/)

Any muskier colognes for Akuto

I usually tell the truth–Burberry Weekend, Bulgari Aqua, Miyake or CK One–as I always use them to mask the terrible stink of nols, rone & anone.

D&G, Burberry, CK A&F

If I cover I will say that cologne.

[Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) is a pretty legit thing to say since it means ‘orange blossom flower’.

> **[Neroli](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neroli)**
>
> Neroli oil is an essential oil produced from the blossom of the bitter orange tree (Citrus aurantium subsp. amara or Bigaradia). Its scent is sweet, honeyed, and somewhat metallic with green and spicy facets. Orange blossom water is also extracted from the same blossom and both extracts are extensively used in perfumery. Orange blossom can be described as smelling sweeter, warmer, and more floral than neroli. The difference between neroli and orange blossom is a result of the different extraction...

What if I get AMMO? What kind of cologne does it smell like?

I usually say the name of my main cover scent and sometimes I’ve even been saked to write down daetails.

On a couple of occasions, when a guy has asked, I have said I’m wearing the cologne over a “special” scent called [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) - Try googling it. 😉

I’ve moved up to making blends in to-go bottles. Tad of this, tad of that.

So I’d have to go with saying…

" I like playing chemist, so I make my own colognes at home with essential oils, such as neroli. I call this scent, White Lightning because it’s a bit… energetic."

With [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/), you can just say “Creed.”

If you tell women that you mix your own cologne, that’s good for a little conversation and a few more close sniffs.

With A314 is pretty cool to say its a blend because there is literally no product out there with that scent. Yes it has [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/), but there is so much more to it and it doesn’t smell like cologne.
