Hi. I’m a 29 year old male, and i’ve been using androtics products, including androstenone, for several years.

I am no longer using Androstenone. Why?

Lately I have been finding it not that effective. Women are being repelled when I use androstenone more often than they are being attractive. There was a study I read on this forum that detailed an “exclusion” effect, known on the forums as “ghosting” that can cause women to be turned off. They think you are dominated by your sexual desires. They are unable to see past the lust and see the person underneath.

But that is not the only reason. On the night before New Years Eve, I was attacked outside of a neighbourhood bar. That night I had decided to put on a large dose of androstenone (MX461 or 2, 3 sprays) to give me a confidence boost, and help pick up a girl. I was a bit lonely, depressed, and got drunk. The bar closed and I was standing on the sidewalk, when a passerby pushed me and started yelling at me. He walked off, when I commented to the guy next to me that “He was an asshole, and had an attitude problem.” The assailant turned around and charged me.

At this point, I had been angry. The anger and frustration had been building in me at the end of the night, like it does most nights I use androstenone and don’t get what I want. When I saw him charging me, I relished the fact that I was finally about to fight. For years when using androstenone, I noticed the temptation for violence, the wish to punch, the lust for adrenaline. I am a very non-violent man, and never had a problem before, I was able to control my emotion. This time however, I was not.

I swung at him, he punched back and knocked me out. Then he proceeded to kick me in my head until bystanders chased him off. I went to the hospital with a black eye. Now I have had double vision for a month. Not sure how I will heal it.

All this to say that I am no longer using it. I can’t stand it anymore because of the anger, frustration and disappointment it brings with it. That being said, I have had my fun times. When I first began using it, it gave me confidence, and showed me what I can have if I go out there and get what I desire. Now, I must move on and recognize what it does to me.

I want to warn you all to **BE CAREFUL WHEN USING ANDROSTENONE.** Recognize your emotions and realize that it is a powerful [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/), and can affect people in ways you might not expect or want.

Thank you for reading this.

(((((Evolver)))))

I am so sorry for your terrible experience. I assume doctors have checked for permanent damage and found none. If not get it checked. If they have checked the double vision will clear up in time. Its part of the healing process. The brain will heal it self or it could be your retina in which case you want to keep that eye covered in darkness so it can heal.

As far as anone… This happens when people use mones more for self effects and forget that they are sending out a signal. Anone not only signals masculinity and vitality, its signals aggression. I do think you should give it a break but dont be afraid of it forever. Use it wisely though.

This incident reminds me of my incident with copulins and TAH. I wish I could find the post. But the mix left me in a vulnerable position and I wore it in the wrong environment.

Instead of thinking that this could possibly be a drunk and aggressive moron, blame the mones? =( Come on man you know you are better than that. These things happen to many people, not only those wearing mones, and many people would react in the same way. The only thing you should be ashamed of is losing the fight. Hopefully you have learnt to go the gym more often and to avoid drunk people.

I’m sorry to hear what happened to you, but regardless of mones or not, agressive people will be aggressive. Agression that builds up over time is really something that has to be controlled. I’ve worn mones consistently for over a year, and on and off a few after and from experiences and what you’ve wrote, the guy was already looking for a fight, this is why he pushed you, any reaction to that would have happened regardless of mones or not.

I’m not a violent person by nature either but from mones and not mones, I have come to realize that the impact of -none isn’t as pronounced as many of us think that it actually does. Everyone has the propensity to act out violently, it happens. You control YOU and not any amount of product can do that to you. Plenty of times some DB’s try and say something and I could easily verbally or physically say something but I diffuse the situation, even if it makes me look like an idiot.

No matter what its on you to make those choices, just like how it’s on the women who are in your cloud to choose whether or not to talk to you.

Hey man, that’s assuming a lot. Did you even read the post? I’ve been using [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) for 5 years, I’m not quitting because of this one attack. I’m quitting because it’s not working for me anymore, emotionally, mentally, or sexually.

Also I haven’t been to the gym since I got attacked. I miss it!

Some days it’s [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/), other days it’s P74 and IH. I match pheromones to my moods and lately, Androstenone has been taking me to a dark place so I’m quitting. MHarris himself said Androstenone was dark, and I agree that it can get me feeling a little evil. Sometimes that’s fun, but lately it hasn’t been. Yup, the attack could of been random, or it could have been mones. You’ll notice I never outright blamed Androstenone for the attack, just that it affected my mood and potentially the mood of the guy who attacked.

This thread is instructive. NONE, especially in amounts over 5 mcg, taps into very raw and primal forces. Use this stuff around Dodge City 150 years ago, and you’d have gunfights. Life 1000 or 10,000 years ago was neither kind nor refined. Violence was typical. Androstenone’s raw male quality triggers that competitive duel attitude in men and that sexually charged mentality in women. The only thing I’ve found is that [P75](https://a314.com/product/p75/) somehow induces enough authority to suppress the male dominance challenge from other men. I do not know why. Intense (or sometimes even ordinary NONE use) can induce violent outbursts, especially when alcohol is involved. In last week’s tests, I’m pretty sure I saw an incipient fight triggered indirectly by (but not involving) me. 10 mcg each of NONE and P75 did it, despite substantial buffering.

I call BS, it’s all an excuse IMO.

I eat a lot of red meat, I work out constantly, and I’m an O type. Does that mean I should change my diet because I get “roid rage”, no I learn to deal with my feelings. People please, respectfully, stop thinking or “blaming” mones for any actions that YOU have control over, that’s just a cop out IMO.

Really, it’s the other people and their responses to what I’m wearing–the part I can’t control (their behavior) that’s the unknown quantity. You just never know what’s going on in someone else’s mind. That person could have violent tendencies due to mental illness. Some men have terribly violent tendencies with alcohol, and yes, something like [Instant Jerk](https://a314.com/product/instant-jerk/) could, I think, set them off.

This is a direct quote from the store about IJ : “Instant Jerk: Rough, uncivilized and rude. Someone who might kick a puppy and like it.”

Now, I’ve never used IJ, but I have used 10 mcg of NONE and 10 of P75 together. You have to admit, kicking a puppy is pretty violent and sociopathic. However, I keep an open mind. Is there anyone here saying _ **high** _ amounts of NONE don’t carry with them a risk of violence?

None can make me a bit aggressive as well but it can be controlled. Sometimes it starts going the wrong way, i.e other guys stare at me, I forget I’m sending a message with the mones and get annoyed when they’re staring. So I stare back and the guys show all the signs of preparing for a fight, or even start talking about it. Usually I would’ve turned diplomatic long before this point but I don’t usually do while wearing none.

If all males were affected in this way, I’d quit using none for sure but it’s only a select few. I also need to remember that I’m sending a signal and behave real peacefully and show that I’m not looking for a barroom brawl.

Just like all our other forms of communication mones do play a role in how people interact with us and how we interact with others. I do agree its not\*\* all\*\* the mones fault but they played there role. This person he encountered most likely had violent tendencies but we can not ignore other things that played there part in this interaction.

Anone is aggressive, it challenges other males for supremacy. Most males can control the impulse to go head to head with other males but catch them in a moment when they are already agitated or a certain environment and anone can be the catalyst to an incident.

Every person holds every emotion within them so even if your non violent by nature that doesn’t mean it cant sneak up on you. In the heat of the moment anone can be the difference between making the right choice and the wrong one so if evolver says it contributed to his incident I have no doubt it did and he would not be the first.

I did finally find that post I was speaking of with my incident. It doesn’t involve anone but demonstrates the importance of paying attention to your signal and environment and how a good mix can go wrong.

[Pheros got me kicked out of yoga class](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/pheros-got-me-kicked-out-of-yoga-class/20108)

I still use this mix often. I just am more choosy where I wear it. Most people would say its not my fault however I know mones well enough to know they played a part.

Evolver … Like I mentioned you should give anone a break just to get your bearings again but dont be afraid to use it ever again. It has its place on dates or in sexual situations and in low doses with a good buffer to help influence arousal and attraction.

I cant tell you how many others I have seen make similar mistakes. It happens. Dont throw the baby out with the bath water. Learn from the mistake and correct it.

Yeah, P51 I respect your posts and all but that’s really ignoring ALL the research done by the many people who study pheromones on this forum.

sorry to hear what happened to you, hope you get well soon.none is dark and aggresive at high dose.i wore 10mcg for experimental purpose and the result was intense.this one guy received the signal, felt so agitated and wanted a brawl with me.i myself also felt violent, hyped up(usually im not like this)about to smash the cunt but my friends pulled me back.but none at low dose is healthy and very helpful,so give it another try bro 🙂

Let’s be honest here, most of the research in this place is tainted. I also had a reporting bias because of all the things that I’ve read. I’ve learned more about pheromones when I wasn’t reading all the reports on this forum than when I read reports on a constant basis. It’s your body use what you want, but when you actually take a step back its pretty surprising what can happen. Your body will never stop producing -none, it’s better off that you learn to see the warning signs rather than completely leave it be because of one bad incident.

I think I would look at it this way. Most real research that attempts to measure natural NONE relies on gas chromatography - mass spectrometry. Results are usually reported as how many moles in the armpit and can be converted to micrograms. It varies from less than 1 mcg for both men and women to as high as 10 mcg for men. I’ve never seen a value for Natural NONE present on the armpit higher than 10. I also haven’t seen a distribution curve, so I don’t know what percentage of men have NONE over 7.5 mcg.

Few reports of collecting NONE samples from the male and female groin–tough to get research volunteers for this.

If we assume that high NONE is part of the Alpha male signature, then we would expect him naturally to be one of these walking around sporting 8-10 mcg of NONE perhaps. There’s no telling how much you’ve got on you. Let’s say 5 mcg. Then, if you add 5 mcg of supplemental NONE, you’re actually projecting amounts at the upper end of those found in nature. You’re sending an intense alpha signature, with all the attendant effects. Anytime you are wearing 10 mcg NONE, you’re really projecting out something that might rarely be found in nature–and violent responses should not come as a surprise.

It’s not one bad incident. I have not had good experiences with it lately.

The reports about androstenone and violence are probably less “tainted” than people reporting about their personal experiences? Perhaps even our own minds are fallible? Maybe one persons experiences cannot come close to the different experiences EVERYONE has based on their different personalities, pheromone signatures and neurochemical make up?

The studies also say that you do stop producing -none?

P51, I think you are suffering from confirmation bias. You are certainly showing all the symptoms… to a man with a hammer, everything seems like a nail, even a screw. 😛

Thanks for the post Tisha. I’m going to be taking self defense classes that not only how to deal with physical escalation and attacks, but also how to diffuse aggression before it begins and the psychology of conflict. It’s called Senshido. Interesting stuff!

My experience with a heavy -none signature is that it tends to make me easily angered. Really short tempered, to the point of being mildly irrational. I’m probably more familiar with -none than any other pheromone, and I very rarely use it because of this. The thing is, I don’t tend to have a temper - hardly at all - and I have a better grip on my emotions than many of the people I interact with when I’m interacting with a random cross-section of the population. So at a high dose, I could completely see people with poor impulse control or impaired judgement becoming hostile. Even if not, it can sour my mood and/or the moods of those around me. I’m sure pheromones aren’t the only factor, but this is pretty consistent and easily repeatable. -none is tricky, tricky stuff in my opinion, and I use it with caution.

Honest… really. The research here is not perfect, I will admit, but I would not call it tainted. As far as open research conducted by users is concerned this is the most reliable and reputable place despite the pathetic claims of disgruntled former members who have an agenda.

Yes you have to sift the bullshit from the reliable facts but that occurs in all venues where people are reporting on products.
