Hey, all! I actually got this because a youtuber I’m subbed to for NOTHING to do with attractiveness 😛 posted a vlog about how she’d bought Pure Instinct scent and everyone was soooooooooo nice to her…even same-sex people. I’ve been playing around with fragrances like crazy lately (but no pheromones) so the fact that it was a fragrance caught my attention, and then reading the reviews on Amazon, etc., people were saying the fragrance was awesome and that they’d wear it for the scent alone, whether it contained [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) or not. So I thought, This stuff is cheap…I’m going to try it! I swear I’m repelling people with this stuff on. I can barely smell it myself (except for a musky scent…didn’t think that was supposed to happen…everyone was saying it was sweet), but I swear, my husband has been a jackass to me any day I’ve worn it. I’ve done it on some days, not on others just to see if I’m crazy or what…Nope. Every time I’ve worn this, my husband has been a jerk to me. Not only that, so has another male I have contact with regularly (but no romantic interest in) – however, we’re usually pretty close and are good friends, yet the days that I’ve worn this stuff, he’s been a little distant. I certainly haven’t noticed the checkers at Ralph’s or people at the post office being nicer to me when I have it on. 😛 (Yes, this is what some reviews are saying.) Yet now I’m intrigued by pheromones. Some are supposed to enhance a sense of well-being. It all just sounds so cool and fun and so on-track with my latest fragrance kick. Is it possible for pheromones to _repel_ people? I’m a little disappointed, though I haven’t wasted much money, at least, so that’s a plus. Thanks for any help. ---

Pure Instinct is very mild pheromonally. Its basically just anol which is the primary in IO. It shouldn’t repel people. Anol is a friendly upbeat attractant used by both men and women. Well there are many different pheromones that evoke different emotions and responses so yes it is possible to repel with certain mones. You could also wear to much of a identification type mone… for instance a highly masculine mone on a women could send a confusing signal thus repel people. It shouldn’t be the case with Pure Instinct though. Anol doesn’t really signal masculinity or aggression. Its hard to say why your getting this response. I am leaning towards thinking maybe somehow you got a tainted bottle. Tisha ---

Also…I tried this again today, just a tiny drop or two (I had been using more than that…maybe five or six “dots” on my arms, hair, etc. – today was just on my hair) and I went to a get-together and everyone was talking to me and very friendly. 🙂 So who knows. Maybe I was slathering on too much? ---

I actually have read that pure instinct has androstenone, which Tisha has told me causes some men to be a little competitive with her (or that’s how I interpret it) or think she’s pmsing. for me I notice it causes some women to be kinda catty and for some men to really wanna be around me. I try to only use one swipe about an inch long on my wrist. I don’t think I can use more at my job, the people here are odd.
