I posted this observation of [P74](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/p74/) in my journal on April 23rd, 2014. My observation is that P74 is estrogenic. It is probably an Epi molecule or in the very least a Beta. I agree with observations that it is happy & social but I would also add that it’s feminine. ---

p74 is one of my favorite social mones. I use 50mcg per dose and spray 1 or 2 doses on my wrists. It creates a feeling of familiarity: more than once I’ve gotten the “don’t I know you from somewhere” from perfect strangers. Weird thing is I feel it, too. I use it any time I want to make friends and foster cooperation, such as team-building at the office or networking at a party where I want to make business connections. Not as helpful with dating, as it seems to kill sexual tension. ---

[P74](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/p74/) can be incredibly helpful for dating, but you’re dangerously in the “best buddies” territory that will lead you nowhere in dating. 25mcg is my preference. You can lower it to 10mcg with excellent results - you’ll have to discover your own sweet spot for this situation. I strongly disagree that P74 is estrogenic - just because a molecule creates a vibe that appears beta does not make it estrogenic. P74 in excess doses is certainly beta in the sense that it does not attract women anymore except on a friendly level. It’s almost certainly a close relative to Epiandrosterone. P90, as well as Epiandrosterone itself, can create this effect when dosing too high. Unlike Epiandrosterone, I’ve never noticed anything sexual about P74, but compared to Epiandrosterone, it’s more well-rounded as a social, taking on aspects of both Alpha and Beta -nol.
