Anyone ever played that game where everyone at the table puts their mobile face down in the middle, and first one to touch their phone pays the bill? 😃 ---

I’ve heard of people playing that game, I think it is funny! Any time I’m with someone else, even if we’re just hanging out and not at dinner, i put my phone on silent and pretend it doesn’t exist. I keep it out of sight, too. I only check it if they leave the room or if I am in the bathroom. When others talk on the phone or text while they are supposedly spending time with me, I feel totally not valued. Like they think others are more important than me. I don’t want to make anyone else feel that way, hence my no-phone protocol. ---
