# question about build up.

Hi. Is showering everyday enough to avoid none build up or should you skip days periodically. In terms of [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) and a314. Thanks

That’s all I do but I just make sure that I wash the areas that I applied the mones to really well. I have yet to experience the build up.

Androstenone (as in Ammo) is the one that seems most likely to persist and build up. Hydrogen peroxide will breakdown the molecular structure of this and most [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/).

Most pheromones dissipate after a few hours.

Most [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) are gone before you hit the shower and if not wash right off with soap and water.

There are a few stickier molecules though. Anone being the main one. As Warren suggested Peroxide on a cotton rubbed over your application points will remove build up. You can also use witch hazel.

Many people get pheromone on there cloths though. Using a detergent that oxidizes get that out. Like oxiclean or Tide with oxiclean additive
