I’m justing getting started, and am thinking I’d like to try [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/), Instant Sexiness B and Instant Openess together. Do I need to worry about too much fragrance? Does it layer too much?

I think those would layer well together. I OFTEN wear Instant Shine and Instant Sexiness B together. I don’t have [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/), so I can’t comment there. I have them in Nourli, or whatever is the basic scent, which has a floral citrusy note to them. I can wear those as is, or add a little parfum on top to cover and diffuse. I often wear parfum on top more to DIFFUSE than to cover. Well, except when I wear Lust After Me. Then I MUST cover.

Enjoy! and REPORT BACK!

All the best,

April

I agree with April. The normal scent package is very light. When you first apply, it may seem too strong, but it dries down and softens a lot over time.

Why do you need to cover with Lust after Me? I thought it had a scent already?

I just picked up some IS/A and [Lust After Me](https://phera.com/product/lust-after-me/) - but I think that’ll be enough for a while ('course, I say that now…) 🙂

April probably has it with ramped up cops, in which case you would need a cover scent.

Laurie is correct. 😉 Some of the extra cops formulations do get a bot pungent. And also, some ladies prefer their own perfumes to the scent packages, which are light and very diffusive. That is why a lot of them use an additional cover…as for myself, I like to wear the scented ones on their own, mostly…

Thanks everyone. Additional perfumes can get difficult for me, as I get allergic reactions to many perfumes and men’s cologne. I currently have only 3 perfumes that I can wear without having the sneezing, itchy eyes, etc - and it’s taken a while to find these. 🙂

I really am liking the neroli oil scent. Could you use additional straight neroli oil as a “cover” for the stronger mixes, or does a cover scent need to have certain properties to be affective?

If you don’t care much for strong perfumes, and you don’t buy anything with extra cops, you may just want to try the mixes with no additional cover fragrance. The neroli scent that is already added is light and very nice.

The main thing about choosing a cover scent is that it is something your target individual likes to smell. If you don’t have a particular “target”, then just use what you like. The only thing that you need to watch out for if applying an oil based fragrance over [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) is that the oil will slow diffusion. Sometimes, though, this can be a good thing…😃

Thanks Dolly… I’ve definitely had some mixed results with fragrances. I have a good friend (male) at the office that knows I’m “experimenting”. We actually had a past relationship, so he’s very honest with me.

We had to work Sunday, so I had a mix going of IS /B, Shine and a little Lust after Me. I used one of my standard perfumes.

I’m wearing the same thing this morning. We were just talking, and he said yesterday it was an immediate “stirring of the loins” reaction, but today it’s not the same.

I thought I used the exact same amounts, but not sure if I applied in all the same places. So I need to try and re-create Sunday LOL

I’m also wondering if the elapsed time between applying and coming into contact has anything to do with it. This morning, I was in the office within 30 minutes of initial application, and so was my friend. Yesterday I was in about 90 minutes before he was.

Do pheromones need a certain amount of time to “develop” so to speak?
