I’ve read that DPG diffuses at a slower rate and a lot of times a few drops are added to slow diffusion in alcohol base perfumes.

I would like to know how many drops of DPG are needed to slow diffusion down in one of the 5ml TO GO bottles, and how much slower the diffusion rate would be. Any experts out there chime in?

Alcohol is the carrier/solvent DPG is the fixative, Androtics putative’s are made using 10% dpg, the more DPG the longer the mones will take to completely diffuse, anything over 50% DPG is technically and oil base, however the more fixative used the less range you will get and the slower the mones will hit, this is why oil base products are often between 7-10x the concentration of alcohol sprays to try and give them more punch.

Approx 10 drops will extend the life of your mones between 45mins and 1 hour on average if using a 5ml togo, but again this will negate your range and impact of the mones slightly.
