I have seen references to layering different pheromones in a number of other posts. In some, people describe the order in which the pheromones were applied to the point; in others, users have specifically asked in what order another person applied the pheromones. How great, if any, should spraying one pheromone on top of another affect how the pheromones are dispersed through the air. Say you spray [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) on top of TUTH? Will the sexual effect of TUTH be diminished? If applied in the other order, would the calming, ice-breaking effect of IO be lowered? Seeing as both are sprays which, after leaving the spray-tip, are fairly randomly distributed across the area. The percentage of skin covered by the pheromone to the total area of skin in the radius of the spray cone wouldn’t be that high. A second spray wouldn’t cover too much of the original spray. Sorry if what I’m asking is unclear. I’m new to the pheromone scene, so I’m having trouble articulating the more technical or physical aspects of the question.

The effect of turn up the heat will be smoother, less aggressive if you put some io on top. But it is not necessarily a bad thing at all, you might see many good hits that you was never able to get because turn up the heat is too harsh on its own 🙂

But will putting one [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) on top of another affect the dispersion of either? Will there be a noticeable difference when putting TUTH on top of IO and vice versa?

I don’t think it will make much of a difference. Unless if I’m wrong, the only reasons we layer is to either cover up the stink in a few of the pheros or to combine them to having a desired overall effect, like using Instant Openness to make [Turn Up the Heat](https://a314.com/product/turn-up-the-heat-tuth/) less aggressive for instance.

Once your really into using pheromones layering in a certain order does help create or intensify certain effects.

For instance…

Women use cops to arouse men but you may not want to head straight into arousal but let it build.

So you apply cops first and then layer with another product. The top layer diffuses more strongly then the lower level pheromones.

So for a guy using lets say Turn Up The Heat …

Apply Turn Up The Heat as you base pheromone

Layer on Instant Honesty next

Then layer on Instant Shine.

The effect…

The Instant Shine makes her feel great upbeat happy content, It hits her first and stronger then the lower leveled pheromone

Then the Instant Honesty sneaks in and makes her feel intimate and close to you which is something a women really needs to feel (Before) becoming aroused.

Then the TUTH kicks in and arouses her.

You have already primed her with the other pheromones now she will be more likely to react to the arousal. Imagine if you did it the other way around. If the arousal hit before the comfort she may feel threatened or nervous. As Mockingbird mentioned it creates a smoother experience.

Get it \>\>\>\>\>\>\>\>

Its why I really like layering. So many variables.

I will give you another example…

Suppose Tisha is going to a hot tub party and wants everyone to feel comfortable and get in the hot tub.

OK here we go…

I would use a base of heavy P83

Then cover with IH

I would then cover with [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) and top that with Ishine.

The Ishine hits first making everyone feel great and in a party mood.

The Instant Openness then gets everyone interacting and ready for fun

The IH then sneaks in and aids in comfort and a feeling of closeness which is vital if your all getting nakky.

Bammm the P83 hits and cloths start hitting the deck.

Its a process LOL You do not have to layer but like I said once your really into pheromones its fun to learn to create different atmospheres and it helps to understand human nature and how social interaction works. You really need to have experience with each pheromone and success using them to get this effect. Once you have that awareness while using pheromones its fun and easy to learn the art of layering. 😉

LOL not down the street but in certain environments it does play a factor in “presenting”

I will attempt to explain what myself and some others have noticed with it.

In a public place filled with people we dont know, people tend to preen and present more. Meaning they tend to try to ummm delibratly put certain body parts in your line of vision. Almost like peacocking. They also bump you with certain parts more. I dont think they even realise they are doing it.

In a more social intimate setting cloths can come off, People become more seductive especially if a person has a comfort level with nakedness. The Peacocking is more prominate depending on the comfort level.

[P83](https://a314.com/product/p83/) is sexual in nature and is still in testing so as we go along we will learn more about it.

Just for those who dont know, Peacocking is a term PUA’s use for dressing a certain way to impress. By Peacocking, in referance to P83 its go’s a little deeper, They tend to amplify or bring to attention certain body parts as part of there attempt to grab your attention. Much the way the Peacock will span his feathers to prove he is the best mate.

Not scentwise, but purely pheromonally speaking, does layering actually make that difference? By that logic wouldn’t it make it important what pheros to pour into a bottle first when mixing? Does the order you apply really affect the order in which someone will neurologically respond to them? Being that they are liquids don’t they get roughly mixed together before drying when being sprayed in the same application point?

Are you suggesting that you make an application, dry down, rinse repeat and they’re effectively layered? Or just spray one after another in preferred order and they are layered? Or both does it make a difference?

Explain.

I have found differences in applying a mix using various layers and pre-mixing in a bottle. It can change completely the effect on some people, and it’s normally more prediceable and controlable if it’s layered and not pre-mixed (pre-mixed is more unpredictable IMO, though I always use premixed because I can carry everything in a to-go, ready to use).

I suppose other people here would agree that effects are different in these two cases, didn’t you?

You’re right. Perhaps a good deal of the “what order did you use them” is just superstitious … or maybe just very cautious. Even if there’s a very small percentage of likelihood that spray order makes a physical difference, if you’re trying to replicate an effect … why not try doing it in the same order? It eliminates a variable from the analysis.

I have read people putting perfume over the top of phero’s too. I would think the mix of perfume ingredients would dampen down the effect of phero’s.

I have been spraying any added perfume on first, then putting the phero’s over the top.

Same as when I use my customized essential oil mixes. I put them on first and the phero’s over the top.

It would be interesting, I have tried to do this many times but, there are too much variables in real life to ensure that a certain mix has one or another different effect if you layer it or premix it…
What is clear for me at least is that effects are different in premixed preparations but I suppose the differences are diffusion related 🙂.

So the layering order also makes a difference in how people respond?

Say if I sprayed [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) first and then Instant Sexiness, I would get guys to be first physically attracted and then have a long conversation.
And if I’d do the reverse, guys would notice me as a friendly, trustworthy girl and then become attracted?

I know premixing makes a difference. Alot of us say mix when we really just sprayed 4 different things on ourselves and called it such. Of course there’s all that fancy math in the art of mixing to get X amount of mcgs of each desired component per spray.

It’s like making coffee by pouring the coffee into your mouth, then adding sugar, and cream. You still get the mixture of coffee, with cream, and sugar. Only it’s not coffee in the same way as if you put it all together in a cup 1st.

I would be interested to see what the resident chemist has to say about layering…

With an alcohol base in the products and ?maybe? something used as a preservative or to extend shelf-life…

Spraying on one phero product - allowing it to dry - then using another alcohol based product on top with possible preservatives…

Would that possibly affect or pat down the first phero product?
The alcohol dries very rapidly…Does anyone know if they use additives/preservatives of any kind in the products?

I will go check my bottles\>\>\>\>\>\>\>

I know they’ve instant shine extendo. Two versions which both utilize a different fixative to slow down diffusion. This results in it being at a higher concentration. I wonder if you were to premix either of the extendo Shine variants with other pheros if they would exhibit the extendo characteristics as well. Or if spraying other pheros “overtop” or “underneath” the extendo shine would have effect upon their diffusion rate.

Just made myself a new experiment and no extendo to test it with. Ah well. Should be an interesting experiment for somebody that does have it.

My understanding after reading this thead (especially tisha’s post) is that layering works when you use a spray.. let it dry down… and spray another product on the same spot. Not really rinse, but repeat.

In such a case, the spray thats layered on top would be stronger, atleast in terms of smell. Also social pheros have a tendency to exhaust faster then -none based ones, so layering makes all the more sense.
Ofcouse molecules might diffuse differently then fragrance. I cant smell -none like a few people in phero world… Wish I could.

Makes all the sense in what way? People claim none is more evident if it is sprayed last. Therefore they spray it first, then spray the fast diffusing socials. Even though none is sticky I bet it wouldn’t make the socials diffuse any slower if they’re sprayed underneath it.

How can the order in which spray applications are applied/dried/applied in the same application point affect the way in which an individual will perceive the molecules in your signature any differently at a neurological level?

Until I hear an explanation that actually makes any sense, I doubt the unproven theorem of layering in it’s entirety.

Yes I have tested this theory alot and it does work.

It doesn’t make a tremendous difference and the products still work when you layer them any which way but I go more in depth with testing of some products then most people.

I have also tested it on other pheromone users who have trouble getting pheromones working for them. By changing the way they apply the get results.

It is not something that has to be done but something that is fun to do when you have been using pheromones for a long time and have a understanding for how they work with one another. The differences are subtle but they are there.

I dont composite many mixes in the same bottle. But from what I have learned from Michael and talking to Jasmin over the years it does make a difference when adding them into the bottle what go’s in first and last. Has something to do with stearing and buffering a mix plus I am sure other factors. Why I could not say but I will be learning more about how to composite correctly soon from my brother and will try to find out. Its good to have a brother who is a scientist I can pick his brain whenever I want to LOL

Words from MH that go a little more indepth into **parts** of the subject They are not directly related but I can find what I am looking for to quote and it may be in my PM notes …

There are a ton more from him that touch on the subject but I cant find the direct one I am looking for. I will keep looking. He likes to use color analogy. If you take blue and red and mix it in a cup you get purple but take red and layer it on the canvas, let it dry down and then cover with a bit of purple and you get a different shade of color. Its much the same with mones.

For a more scientific approach…

It has alot to do with diffusion rates. Molecules all have a different molecular weight. They can weigh each other down to a certain extent. You learn alot about this in perfumery.

But let me touch on your coffee analogy first. Yes if you put sugar coffee and milk in your mouth and swish it around your will get the same thing as if you mixed it in a cup technically. But it will taste different depending on what you put in your mouth first because that will leave the first impression on your senses. Give it a try and see. If you put the sugar in your mouth first when you add the rest it will taste sweet. If you put the coffee in first the rest will taste bitter.

It works the same sometimes when cooking as well. he order can make or break a recipe. Molecules are funny things.

> Molecular weight and diffusion are inversely proportional; the greater the molecular weight, the slower the rate of diffusion. In fact, certain molecules can never pass through membranes, thus protecting the cell. I am not sure I understand your theory and second question. Do you refer to the weight of the cell being reduced as diffusion progresses? Or the average molecular weight? I don’t understand, but I will discuss both just in case. In reference to the former, cell weight obviously depends on whether the particles coming in are bigger, smaller, or in greater concentration than those inside. Say they are bigger and in high concentration: it takes a long time to pass large particles through, but they block the exit of particles internally, so the cellular weight increases until equilibrium is reached on either side. Bigger and in lower concentration: large particles pass slowly, plus they are blocked externally by the outgoing intracellular particles, so the overall weight decreases until equilibrium is reached, followed by an increase as the large particles pass finish passing. Smaller and higher concentration: the particles pass over quickly until equilibrium is reached, resulting in increase of weight, but no further diffusion takes place until larger particles (such as proteins) are produced, at which point the original weight is reached. Smaller particles and lower concentration: large particles pass out, and block the smaller ones until the weight decreases to the point where the small ones pass in, again bringing the cell back to the original weight. As with the latter, (average inner molecular weight) the average goes in favor of small particles when the concentration is greater outside, generally because incoming nutrients are usually smaller than outgoing proteins and wastes, but larger particles are favored when there are relatively little nutrients and other particles outside (for the same reason as stated above)

LOL This is how my brother talks LOL Fun huh Basically he is saying what I said but on a cellular level. You weigh down the molecules when you layer, as the top layer diffuses some of the lower level molecules will go with it but as they become less weighed down the lower layers begin to diffuse more strongly. So the molecules diffuse lightly all together to some extent but also in waves according to layer each effecting the subconscious mind in a certain order.

Keep in mind this application method is not good for long term mone use. If I am looking for specific results I apply right before I see my target.

Now if you study “Influence technoligy” you will find that these outside influences act quickly but one influence can have a direct outcome on another influence. This is how layering causes a slight difference in reaction or how you can learn to use the mones in a certain way to create a specific reaction.

So while its not something that has to be done to be successful with pheromones it does add a certain amount of variables and intensity to the products you use and can alter the results **slightly**. Yes they are still pheromones but your stearing them in to fit your “color” (Michaels words) more.

Yes contrary to popular belief I actually know how mones interact with each other 😉 LOL
