In the mens section there is a stickied thread on IOI’s that can be expected from women but I don’t see one here about what you all look for from men. Could anybody give a list of IOI’s you see from guys showing interest but not actual hits? Obviously things like hair flipping/twirling can’t apply to me, so what is it that you observe from guys? ---

Ask yourself what are peoples normal general reaction to you and others around you. Are they open and friendly ? Are they intimidated ? Do they acknowledge your presence ? Do strangers generally talk to you ? Are people in a great mood when hanging around you ? Do people treat you with respect ? Are guy/girls open to you… It’s in the stickys here. Men are far less subtle with their IOIs than women… 😉 ---

Are male IOI’s so few and subtle that it comes down to hits more than IOI’s than? ---

men have developed natural techniques of evaluating and screening through women in the first 3 seconds upon looking. In just 3 seconds, we can already determine whether the said female is attractive towards us. Unlike females whom generally needs to get to know and have a connection with future partners, men can ignore the connection and base judgement on just looks alone. We give IOI’s indirectly and subtlely for the one’s who go under-the-radar and uses mirrors, reflections to take a longer and closer look at a beautiful women. Men in general, when attracted to a certain female, tend to behave differently. They show signs such as, 1. Posture change 2. Frequent eye glances 3. Voice tonality change 4. Speak louder to get noticed if in a group 5. If athletic, displays subtle signs of muscularity such as flexing 6. Body language more open 7. If nervous, folds arms 8. Feet changes to plant firmly on the ground 9. Touches facial hair if any 10. Adjusts glasses 11. Leans in towards said female Keep in mind that these are just some common IOI’s given off by men. Unlike women, they are very subtle but can be caught if you observe well enough. Women in general do not need such an IOI list for men as they naturally have an ability to detect interest from men. Their social intelligence on average is on better score than men. ---

I know what the books and articles say but in my experience IOI’s displayed by a women can be more subtle then displayed by men. Women are more aware of IOI’s then men probably because men are generally the ones who do the approaching. We are more subtle because of the evaluation and connection time we take. With guys it depends a lot on there personality of course. Most guys use pretty much the same cues as women just in more of a masculine way. They stare, You catch them glancing at certain body parts on you repeatedly, They make comments, They peacock more around you, They touch you more, (arms, shoulder hand), They touch themselves more, chest face Hold direct eye contact longer, Facial expressions when they interact with you is a big tell. They get in your personal space more, They square off their posture, Display their crotch (not in a pervy way lol) by using body language and positioning. Then you have your nervous fidgeters and again you see this with women as well. They repetitively glance at you, Appear nervous, Sweat more, Laugh to much, Sometimes get a little clumsy when interacting with you, Get the deer in the headlights look, Hover around you more. Show off more. Then you have your blatant forward men. These are the ones that outright stare and make obvious comments like “Hey baby, like to get me some of that” snort…🙄 Alpha men are a little harder to pick up cues with. They dont show the nervous cues or the obvious cues as much. They make direct eye contact and hold it Lean in when they speak to you Hold a open, comfortable body posture They position body so its fully facing you They have this smile/grin thing they do when they know that you know they are checking you out thats just unnerving and knee weakening. Hmm yes we take longer to evaluate and connect but only to decide if we are interested in you this is why our IOI can be more subtle but in just seconds we know if your interested in us or not. And the second one would you consider this a good thing in the guys favor? ---
