I wonder what perfumer alcohol and those other dilution things are good for? I am trying to buy an empty 30ml bottle (or 3 or 4) cuz I can’t get the smell out of the empty one i have. I want to buy AMMO double strength with no added scent, pour equal amounts of AMMO and my fragrance of choice and that way, I think, I have AMMO with my favorite scents.

I like neroli, I don’t mind Ammo scent. But I LOVE and loath my beautiful cologne collection, I love to smell something different on me everyday.. burberry..valentino.. D&G.. euphoria.. i have over 15 cologne bottles, i collect colognes.

I have a neroli ammo, i usually spray it then spray other colognes on top, but still that neroli hint changes the whole musical meaning of the smell.

My worry is that the alcohol in those big name fragrances would not be enough dilution for the [pheromones](https://a314.com/) and they would not reach audience enough, so this is why I am asking…what the hell are those additions to the empty bottle for and how would I use them? also any advice on my evil plan of mixing please share your experiences and thoughts..

You sound exactly like me, last count I now have about 20 different bottles of cologne with about 10-20 decants and now getting into agarwood and lost track my shelf has so much stuff I don’t know what I have anymore LOL

Perfumer alcohol is for making your own cologne say with essential oil

you would take a few drops of say sandalwood essential oil drop it in your 30ml bottle with perfumer alcohol and shake real hard and let it sit for a while and there you go now have a simple sandalwood mix, or can pour some of that perfumer alcohol into a 5 ml to go and have a smaller mix

it a bit more then that if you want more complicated mixes but basically that is what is there for and how they make the phero mixes.

I agree with you about neroli ammo, I bought it a while back and just using it now becuase i have it, next time going unscented.

Really the best bet in future is to order all products as unscented which is what i plan on doing, then spray and cover with your favorite cologne. You can as an alternative have say atomizers like several different 5 ml to go with your favorite mixes but if you wear a different cologne each day like i do it gets way too confusing and i will end up with 100 5 ml to go

So to sum up best thing is order [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) unscented: spray it and make sure you spray your cologne where you spray the ammo

I order all my products unscented. I hardly smell them, if I smell them at all. Of course, I may have a bad sniffer…

Best colognes to use are ones that have good sillage

I have not had a problem with most of my colognes since I tend to only buy colognes that have good sillage, for example D&G PH has excellent sillage i noticed you have that

How to test for sillage: few ways

1. Ask someone

2. Spray on a strip card and leave in one room and then leave and come back and see how long before it takes for you to smell it

3. my favorite test i spray my pet with my cologne

Yes, I find they do their job fine. I also find I need a little more than usual. That’s probably because I don’t know much about mixing. I’m currently trying to learn about diffusion and using fixatives, etc.
